I get the notification as I enter the thirtieth chapter. There were forty-nine when I started reading, meaning there were twenty more chapters ahead of me. I never realized I would be as invested in a fictional universe about me as much as I am.
Danny, the book character, had fallen for a Formula One rookie's older sister. They had just had sex for the first time and she was telling him about her childhood and how fucked up it was.
I heard a knock at my door, and I stood up to open it. I was met with a smiling Max.
"Hey, what's up, dude?" I opened the door letting him in.
"You're still in your work clothes," Max pointed out, causing me to remember something I had forgotten.
"Shit, man! I forgot we made plans. I picked up this book, and it's just so good."
"You read? Since when?"
"Since this morning. Lando got me to read this one story, and it's interesting. "
"Mhm. So let me guess, you're not coming out then tonight?"
"Yeah. I hope you don't mind. "
"Nah, it's fine it was just gonna be you, Kelly, and I anyways. It will be nice to have some alone time with her"
I smiled. "Yeah, man! Go to your Girl!"
"Awesome, I'll see you at the next GP then" He smiled.
"Yep, see you then. Bye mate, " I said, as he walked out the door and down the hallway.
"Bye"
I closed the door before jumping back onto the bed carrying on with the story.

I finish the author's Note and I need to find this girl. I can't explain why I just need to. I go through all the people she follows on Wattpad and they are all just other fanfic writers except one.
"DaDebble" I let the name roll off my tongue. I look at what accounts she has linked to her Wattpad and see her Instagram. I follow the link to her Instagram page. I watched her story and I see her giving her best friend merch but there are no mention tags on the video. I let out a sigh.
I go back to her profile and start going through her posts. Noticing that her name is Debs. A post from two hours ago was the first one.
Normally the blonde one would attract me but there was something about the brunette that was just sticking with me. I went to her account and scrolled through every single photo she had ever uploaded. I looked at her private story and there was a video of her and her friend laughing at a comment on the tv screen. One I noticed was from the account on Wattpad I used. Could you have someone on your private story even if they don't follow you? I questioned myself.
I messaged Lando and asked if he wanted to come over. He said he'd be here in five. How are you going to explain this one Daniel?

A knock sounds at my door and I opened it.
"Man it's like Midnight. Why am here?" He says walking into the room. He sits on the edge of my bed. I close the door and sit in front of him on the chair.
"I fell down the rabbit hole"

"She looked young, how old is she?"
