Yibo's face turned cold and he glared at the four boys. Liu Wei and his friends gulped and looked at each other. They knew at this point they have really fucked up. How the heck someone could come there? And it has to be someone with such a deadly aura? They knew the guy is older and senior than them, on top of that his styling and dressing clearly stated that he is damn rich.

Wang Yibo removed his coat and covered Zhan from back and hugged him. He turned his gaze to the four boys and asked, "What was happening here?"

Liu Wei gulped and stuttered, "S-sir, we were j-just trying to have some fun. We didn't m-mean to hurt him."

Wang Yibo talked calmly, "Having fun? By bullying him when he was alone?"

"We actually didn't mean to." They tried to reason.

Wang Yibo took a deep breath, "Do you know, your little fun can actually traumatize someone for a lifetime? Now what if I give you two options to choose from- either apologize right now or I will punch each of those fine faces?"

The four guys looked down in shame. Liu Wei pouted and stood in front of Zhan, "We are really sorry. W-we were really trying to have some fun. We will never bully you again. Promise. Please forgive us!" Xiao Zhan didn't look at him and kept hugging Yibo. He tightened the hug and buried his face in Yibo's chest. He didn't want to look or talk to those boys.

Liu wei pouted more. "We are sorry. You will be our leader from now on. We will never hurt you or let anyone hurt you. Let's be friends ok?"

Wang Yibo sighed and caressed Zhan's head. He nodded at the boys when Xiao Zhan didn't show any signs of answering them.

Liu wei chuckled nervously as he rubbed the back of his neck and bowed towards Yibo before running from there.

Once they left, Wang Yibo cleared his throat and spoke, "They are gone!"

Xiao Zhan pulled back from the hug and looked in Yibo's eyes with his tear struck face. Wang Yibo heart broke to pieces seeing him so miserable.

"W-why *sob* did you let them *hic* go so easily? Why *hic* you didn't beat them?" Xiao Zhan questioned, his voice was hoarse from so much crying and his breath hitched as he sobbed.

Wang Yibo smiled and made him sit on a chair before he kneeled in front of him.

"Would it have looked good, if I beat those kids huh?" Wang Yibo chuckled.

Xiao Zhan thought and nodded, "B-but they bullied me!"

Wang Yibo chuckled and lifted his chin, "No one will bully you, gege will make sure of that!"

"Mn. But gege why d-did you come here? Do you study here?" Xiao Zhan asked.

Wang Yibo picked up Zhan's water bottle and made him drink some water before talking, "Your friend Jiyang sent me here."

"Jiyang? How does he knows you?" Xiao Zhan asked completely shocked.

"Uhm, actually he is my cousin's husband who works at my office. He brought Jiyang to office as he was sick today. So he told me to check on you, as he knew something bad might happen to you and I came here." Wang Yibo smiled.

Xiao Zhan nodded. Wang Yibo took out his handkerchief and wiped Zhan's tears, "Here, don't cry anymore."

"I was really scared" Zhan whispered while looking down.

Wang Yibo stopped his movements and peered at Zhan. He felt an urge to protect the boy and to keep him safe from the cruel world. He knew Xiao Fengmian and Xiao Yang must be very protective of the kids and siblings in their family. So Xiao Zhan must have always relied on them.
