Chapter 6

The sun rose from the horizon and its rays tried to peer in Zhan's room but couldn't as the windows were covered with thick dark curtains. Though Xiao Zhan had no intention of waking up early but a shrill cry made him open his eyes instantly.

He sat up and gasped when saw his little nephew crying bitterly. It's been two days since he was waking up like this as Xiao Fang always whined to sleep with him. Cradling the baby in his arms, he kissed his forehead and tried to shush him. Xiao Fang, when sensed the familiar touch stopped crying and whimpered. He opened his eyes and smiled when saw his pretty uncle staring at him.

"M-mama" he whimpered again and Xiao Zhan sighed.

"You should really sleep with your mom from now à~fang. You kept me up almost all night." Xiao Zhan complained while yawning. Hearing what he said, little Fang started crying again.

Xiao Zhan laughed, "Aye, you really know how to throw tantrums. Okay, I will let you sleep with me. Now, stop crying and let's find your mamma."

Xiao Fang giggled making Zhan laugh again. They left the room and Xiao Zhan headed to the kitchen but was surprised when saw only his mom and servants working in the kitchen. With his nephew in his arms, he went behind Yu Ziyuan and kept his head on her shoulder.

Ziyuan caressed his hair and continued to bake the cookies as she asked, "What happened baby? Did A~fang trouble you a lot last night? You look tired."

Xiao Zhan hummed in a sleepy voice and mumbled, "Where's Li Qin jie mom? You both haven't gone to the office yet?"  He asked as usually his mom and sister in law would leave for the Xiao's fashion industry. He was so proud of them as they were so competent and creative.

"ZhanZhan, it's Sunday today. No one woke up yet as it's an off day. Have your breakfast or you too can go and take more sleep. Leave fang to me, granny will take care of her grandchild today." She cooed at the baby and took him in her arms.

"Brother is sleeping till late today? Woah unbelievable! I hope he is not sick hehe. Mom, I will eat later in my room. I have to complete my assignment." He walked to his room again and sprawled on his bed. He decided to sleep some more. But as he was about to fall into his dreamland, a sudden frown appeared on his head as he sat up.

"What the heck! Today is Sunday!!!! I have to meet Yibo ge." He glanced at the clock and sighed seeing the time. "It's just 11 in the morning. We are going to meet in the evening. I can sleep in!" He smiled and laid back to sleep.

Whereas, Wang Yibo was working in study when Chen Yi Han who was carrying Wang Lei entered inside. She walked towards him and smiled, "Are you busy Yibo?"

"Um not much. Just reviewing some files." Wang Yibo smiled back.

"Gosh, it's Sunday for heaven's sake. Anyways, will you be able to take me and Wang Lei to shopping today? Haikuan is accompanying dad for a charity program."

Wang Yibo was about to nod but halted when he realised that he had to meet Xiao Zhan in the evening. He cleared his throat and shook his head, "Jie, I won't be able to accompany you. I have to meet a very important person this evening."

Chen Yi Han raised her eyebrows and questioned, "Who is this important person, Yibo?"

Wang Yibo chuckled and replied, "A very important client."

Chen Yi Han nodded in understanding, "Okay. Then we will go next time, okay baby Lei?" She giggled and kissed Wang Lei's head to which he hid his face in his mother's neck.

The evening came earlier than expected. Xiao Zhan was feeling really nervous on how to convince his brother to let him go out.
