Chapter 9:Isolation

4 months later she gave birth to my second son,

Whom we named Hezekiah Mitchell Beckely,

After he was born i was able to come hole for two months and spend some time with her and our new born baby,

The first month in is always the hardest but we got through it,

And once we got settled in with the baby Grace decided to make me go with her to some retreat with other married couples,

I mean I don't know why she wanted to go but whatever Grace wants Grace gets...

Wee dropped the kids off at her parents house and went on our way....

The resort was in Taiwan,

And when we got there the first thing we did was checked into a hotel....

As we came in and began get settled in i just began to look over at my beautiful wife,

And thats when i stood up and walked over to her as i began to kiss on her neck,

Grace:what are you doing?

Me:what does it look like?

And thats when she stopped me,

Me:come baby we haven't did it in a month

Grace:because i was healing from giving birth to you Second child?

And thats when i just rolled my eyes and went back and sat on the bed,

Grace:later on tonight ok but right now lets play and little game...

And thats when she pulled a stack of cards out of her purse,

Me:Grace whats that?

Grace:question for couples

Me:ok come on

And thats when she came and sat beside me,

And pulled the cards out of the pack,

Grace:ok question one?

Grace:Do you want to be more or less like your parents?

Me:mmm thatd a good question

Grace:....

Me:to be honest hell yes because my dad is a Colonel and we lived nice real nice and he might ass well be famous because everyone knows him or at least heard of him and he was really my biggest inspiration growing up

Grace:ok thats was good now your turn?

And thats when i picked up a card,

Me:what is 4 things you can't live without

Grace:oh thats easy God,my kids,you and my parents

And thats when i just smiled,

And this made Grace smiled,

Grace:you have such a pure heart and i just love the way you take care of me and you work so damn hard and just the little things you do that make me feel like a woman

And thats when i smiled and began to kiss her,

After that Me and My wife went down and joined some of the couples....

We all just sat down around a campfire and just began to talked to each other,

The Retreat Counselor:Here we have a nex couple joining us Mr. And Ms. Beckely

And thats when everyone greeted is with a hello,

The man:Wait Grace?

Grace:Michael?

And thats when they both got over and walked to each other,

Michael:wow girl you look good

Grace:thank you

Michael:how long has it been?

Grace:its been a while

And thats when i got up and walked over to them,

Michael:is this your Husband,

Grace:yes Charlie this is Michael.Michael this is Charlie...

And thats when i Gave the man a firm hand shake,

Me:how do you know my wife exactly?

Michael:we use to date back in high school

Me:mmm....

I wasn't the jealous type but I didn't like him something was just off...

After the little sit down me and Grace went back to our rooms,

And a an hour after we got settled in and was laying down Grace got up and began getting ready,

And i was a little confused on where we were going so i asked her,

Me:where are we going?

Grace:I don't know about you but i know I'm going to hang with Michael

Me:I don't like him

Grace:and why is that?

Me:because he's your ex

Grace:Charlie aint shit gone happen between us calm down....

Me:so i can hang out with my ex's too

Grace:i wish the fuck you would

And thats when she rolled her eyes and said,

Grace:and since you can have anyone you want then you won't miss me to much tonight while your sleeping alone

And thats when i went and grabbed her arm,

Grace:wait nothing im out...

After she left i began to feel bad for what i said,

And i just laid there in the bed and waited intill she came back to me....

And later on that night i began to heard the door open and Grace came in,

And i got up out of the bed and slowly walked to her,

Me:Grace?

And then she look to me,

Grace:mmm

Me:you have fun?

Grace:yeah i had fun

Me:I'm sorry

Grace: I'm sorry too

And thats when I hugged her,

Grace:I don't have eyes for no man but you i promise my loyalty never changes you know that

Me:i know

Grace:ok now come on I don't break promises but your about to break me

And thats when i smiled as she took my hand and guided to the bed...
