Delilah wakes up to the sight of a beautifully wrapped gift box placed at the end of her bed. She blinks a few times, still groggy from sleep, but the sight of the box jolts her awake. She sits up, stretching her arms, and reaches for the box. The wrapping paper is a deep shade of purple, adorned with a delicate silver bow.

Curious, she unties the bow and carefully removes the wrapping paper, revealing the gift from Apollo. Delilah was very surprised, especially after turning down his offer to explore the Underworld with him. She opened the box to find a stunning white dress with intricate details and matching diamond earrings. As she put the earrings on, she noticed a folded piece of paper inside the box. She unfolded it and read the note that said:

"Dearest Delilah, I hope this gift finds you well. I understand the trials in the underworld must be grueling, but there is no need to subject yourself to such misery. Join me in the heavens where life is bright and beautiful. I promise to show you a world beyond your wildest dreams. Yours always, Apollo."

Delilah felt conflicted as she read the note. She knew that life in the heavens would be vastly different from the underworld, but she had made a promise to Hades and didn't want to break it. She decided to keep the note hidden, not wanting to upset Hades. She put on the dress and admired herself in the mirror, feeling a sense of freedom and lightness that she hadn't felt before.

Despite the temptation of the gift and the note, Delilah remained firm in her commitment to Hades and the trials. She decided to wear the dress for the third trial and hoped that Hades would be pleased with her appearance.

Delilah went to her room to change into something more comfortable before meeting Hades. She chose a simple, black cotton dress and a pair of comfortable boots.

When she arrived at Hades' chambers, he was waiting for her with a smile on his face. "Good morning, my love," he said, taking her hand and leading her out into the corridors.

They walked down a long, winding staircase and through a series of dark, eerie tunnels. The air was cool and damp, and Delilah could hear the distant sound of dripping water.

Finally, they arrived at a large, iron gate guarded by a fierce-looking three-headed dog. Hades approached the beast and whispered something in its ear, and it obediently stepped aside to let them through.

Delilah couldn't believe her eyes when she saw what lay beyond the gate. It was a massive, lush garden, filled with trees and flowers of every color. In the center of the garden was a sparkling blue lake, and next to it was a small, cozy cottage.

Delilah was surprised to see that there were plants growing in the Underworld, something she had not expected.

"I'm surprised to see that things can grow down here," Delilah remarked to Hades.

Hades smiled at her observation. "Yes, the Underworld is not as bleak as it may seem," he replied. "These plants are just as beautiful as those in the mortal realm, they just thrive in different conditions."

Delilah nodded, taking in the vibrant colors and the sweet scent of the flowers. "I guess I had a preconceived notion that nothing could grow here," she admitted. "But it's nice to see that there is still life and beauty in the Underworld."

Hades looked at Delilah, a small smile playing on his lips. "I'm glad you can see the beauty in the Underworld, Delilah," he said softly. "You bring light to a place that has been shrouded in darkness for far too long."

Hades then turned to face the cottage, "This is where Cerberus lives," Hades said, leading Delilah toward it. "Cerberus is a bit of a grump, but I think you'll like him."

Inside the cottage, Delilah saw Cerberus for the first time. The dog was huge, with three heads and a coat of black fur. Despite his fearsome appearance, he seemed to be enjoying a belly rub from Hades.
