Chapter 15- work

Rose pov

It's now morning. Vincent said he had to go back to work today.
" I don't want to stay here alone"
"Baby I have to go to work"
"Let me go with you please, I'll be good I promise."
"Baby you know my job is dangerous"
"You said you would protect me right?"
"Yes princess, nothing will ever hurt you."
"Good then I'm going with you"
"You little shit, you tricked me"
"Bad daddy, that's bad word"
"You're right, my little rose, I'm sorry." And then he kissed my head and we got ready to go to his job.
"We're here baby"
"It looks like an abandoned building?"
"Because it is sweet, we need to keep it hidden. But our actual real big base is back in italy."
"Ooo italy, is it nice there? I've always wanted to go."
"Well little one if you want to we can. I have to go to Italy anyway. In a week or so and if you don't want to stay alone you are very welcome to go with me."
"YES,YES, YES OFC."
I jumped up and hugged him hard
"it's always been my dream to go to italy"
"We can go anytime you want, I haven't been there in years."
"Why not?"
" I couldn't return without a lady by my side. And now I have one. If your willing to be my lady forever"
"Hmm I'll have to think about jt."
"Oh-ok" I saw him get sad at this
"Yes ofc I will be."
"Okay let's go in babygirl"
"Yes daddy."

It's been a few hours. Vincent made me stay in his office because he said what he does is too bad for me. I wanted to get to know him better so I went to go find him.

The next thing I saw absolutely shocked me. Vincent was hurting a guy. It looked like torture.
"Tell me where he is now!"
I couldn't take my eyes away, I couldn't speak, I couldn't move.
The guy he was torturing looked at me and that's when Vincent turned around.
"Rose, what are you doing here!"
I couldn't say or do anything, I just ran, I didn't stop at all. By the time my legs stopped moving I was out in the woods.
I dropped to my knees and started crying.
I heard footsteps y behind me and I turned around to see Vincent raging angry
"P-Please don't hurt me,"
"Rose I would never ever hurt you. Rose, I told you to stay in the office. Why would you leave."
"Because I missed you Vincent. I didn't expect to see you torturing someone."
"Baby it's part of my job. I only do it to really bad guys"
"What's so bad about him then hm?"
"He's a child molester who raped 14 under age girls."
"Okay maybe he is bad but why can't you have other ppl do it instead of you."
"Baby I am one of the strongest mafia bosses out there, this is my job. And I HAVE to do it no matter what."
At this point he was bent down with his hand lifting my chin.
"Please princess don't be scared of me, I would never ever hurt you or let someone help you."
"Vincent this is scary. I'm scared."
"I know baby but there's nothing to be scared of I'll always be here."
I jumped up and hugged him
"Up daddy uppies"
"Of course my little one anything for you."
After that we went home because I was tired with everything that happened.
We ate dinner and he bathed me like he does every night then we shortly fell asleep cuddling like we always do every night.
I think I love him. He's everything to me and I couldn't ask for anyone better
"I love you daddy"

Vincent's pov
"I love you daddy" she lightly whispered falling asleep.
My body froze but I was so happy
I've been in love with her for a long time.
"I love you to my princess."
I shortly fell asleep soon after.
