My eyes drifted open, and it took a moment for my eyes to come into focus. As they did, I saw Kid lying in front of me. I looked up at his face.
Still asleep. I sighed. The television was still on, but it sounded like someone had turned it down considerably.
Trying not to disturb Kid, I brought my hand up to rub my eyes, but I bumped against his arm. His face shifted a bit, but he stayed asleep. That was when I noticed that he had both his arms wrapped around me.
Taking a deep breath, I rested my head against his chest, and fell back asleep.
