To say he was late was an understatement.
Kaveh stared at the ivory knob on the wooden door, not a thought in mind except his coming fate.
The events that led up to this situation were two-fold.
Initially, he was simply caught up in the hassles and engagement of his work, however the temptation of post-work drinks with his peers enticed him rather too much; leaving him here, at his own doorstep, nearly four hours after Alhaitham demanded.
There were two rules Alhaitham enforced in order for Kaveh to live with him. Don't come home drunk, and don't be late. It's safe to say Kaveh broke them both.
He inhaled deeply, before pushing open the door ever so lightly. Kaveh peeked his head through the gap between the door and the wall, his eyes scanning the premises for any sign of his roommate; nothing.
The lights were dim, and not a sound could be heard.
Kaveh sighed in relief, as he pushed open the door and let himself in, pleased with the unlikely circumstance that Alhaitham had fallen asleep.
He slowly trotted over the hardwood floors, and approached Alhaitham's bedroom door. Kaveh gently nudged the door forward, his breathe hitching as he clutched the doorknob with his entire fist. He leaned forward, finally managing to position himself to confirm alhaitham's whereabouts,"Where have you been?"
A familiar cold voice asserted behind Kaveh's back.
Kaveh's face contorted into both panic and guilt, as he composed himself, straightening his back.
He slowly turned around, now facing Alhaitham, however not daring to meet his gaze."Well?", Alhaitham questioned.
Kaveh didn't respond.
Alhaitham abruptly grabbed Kaveh's collar, pulling him towards his face. His nose twitched, as he inhaled Kaveh's scent.
"You drank." He stated blankly.
"Are you aware of what time it is?" Alhaitham asked, releasing Kaveh from his grip.
"2:00", Kaveh mumbled.
"What was that?" Alhaitham questioned, grasping Kaveh's chin in his hand, forcing him to look at him.
Kaveh's eyes once again averted. "2:00".Alhaitham calmly set himself on the couch, so cynically it was chilling.
"You drank, and you came home four hours late?", he interrupted the silence.
"Ye..s.", Kaveh whispered, standing in front of his roommate.
Would Alhaitham kick him out? Would he tell him to leave? What if Kaveh has to move out? How will he deal with-
"Bend over."
Kaveh's eyes widened.
"What?"
Suddenly his arm was yanked, pulling his face towards Alhaitham's.
His ears were painfully close to the other's mouth; he could feel every breathe Alhaitham took against the skin of his ear, taunting him."I said bend over."
Kaveh's face was beyond red.
Alhaitham wasn't one to joke around, every word he utters is serious. He wasn't humouring Kaveh's misbehaviour this time.
Kaveh swallowed the lump in his throat, as he cautiously lowered himself over Alhaitham's lap.
He hung his head down, as he attempted to assess the situation. Perhaps he could bribe Alhaitham, maybe even convince him Kaveh was innocent."Alhaitham I-"
A sharp pain interrupted his plead, as he felt Alhaitham's broad hand strike the rise of his pants.
A pathetic yelp escaped Kaveh's mouth, as he swung his head lower.
Alhaitham wasn't one to show mercy, even to Kaveh.
The stinging sensation lingered, tainting Kaveh's body. He had never felt this way before.
Kaveh was scared. Not because of Alhaitham; but because he liked it.
