"You look funny" you say smiling up at him
"I got you one so we can look funny together" Steve says pulling out another sweater making you laugh
Steve couldn't help but smile at your laugh.
Ever since that night with the monster, Steve couldn't stop thinking about you. That same night at the hospital Steve and Nancy had a talk ending their small relationship knowing it wouldn't work out seeing as Nancy is starting to feel something for Jonathan.
Steve then ended his friendships with Tommy H and Carol and started to hang out with you more, showing you everything you had missed in your time in the lab.
He showed you all different types of music, TV shows and movies, having movie nights every weekend. He would try to help with school work as Joyce does want you to go back for the last couple of years.
He knows it's hard for you to go out in public so he try's to do things at your house but sometimes he does want to take you on drives to show you around the town more.
"I don't want to wear that" you say shaking your head
"Oh, come on! Don't make me look like an idiot" Steve says making you laugh again "I'm practically begging you"
"Okay, fine" you say making him smile "I'll wear the sweater"
"Yay!" Steve says with a little jump as you put the sweater on over your top
You and Steve make your way out into the kitchen where you hear Joyce call them. You then grab a bowl of mash potato's when Joyce stops to look at the two.
"Well, don't you two look just cute" she says smiling at them "Jonathan take their picture"
"No, no it's fine" you say shaking your head as Jonathan comes in and starts to laugh
"You guys make the cutest couple" Jonathan says making Steve smile
Steve turns his head to see your cheeks are pink making him wrap his arm around your shoulders bring you into his side. Jonathan lifts up his camera as the two smile into the lens.
With a chuckle Jonathan drops the camera down letting you and Steve get back to helping Joyce set the table.
Joyce sits down at the head of the table with you next to her and Steve next to you. Will comes running in with a smile on his face as he sits down opposite you and next to Jonathan.
"It's definitely a Atari" Will says sitting down
"An a-what-i?" Joyce try's to say
"The green present. It's an Atari. I felt Dustin's today, it's the same exact weight" Will tells her
"Really? Well" Joyce says making you chuckle as Will stands back up "Hey, no more snooping" she says to him
"No, i forgot wash my hands. I'll be right back" Will tells her and he walks down the hallway to the bathroom
"Okay. He's washing his hands" Joyce says making the three chuckle as they start to eat
"This is amazing, Mrs Byers" Steve says as he chews the food making you smile
"Thank you, Steve. And you can call me Joyce" Joyce tells him smiling
"Are you okay?" you ask as Will comes back and sits down
"Yeah, i'm okay" Will says to you
"Mmm, Steve's right. Very good, mum" Jonathan says taking another bite of the food "Hey, did Will tell you guys about the game?" he asks them
"No, did you win?" Joyce asks him
"Yeah, i threw a fireball at him and..." Will tells them and makes an explosion with his hands "...Dead"
"What is this?" you ask confused
"A game called Dungeons & Dragons" Will tells you
"Oh, i heard about that. I've always wanted to know how to play" Steve says and Will's whole face lights up
"I could teach you after dinner" Will says smiling to him
"Yeah, man, sounds good" Steve says smiling at the small boy
"Do you like it, sweetheart?" Joyce asks you
"It's the best food i've ever had" you say taking another bite smiling
