"Steve, we will get there in one piece" you say stopping him
"Doesn't mean i'm not going to worry" he says putting a hand on your cheek
"Please, be careful out there" you give him a small smile
"Only if you promise to be careful" Steve says pulling you closer
You softly place your hands on Steve's face wanting to pull him in for a kiss but you can't.
"I want to kiss you too" Steve says making you chuckle
"I love you so much" you tell him smiling
"I love you so much more" Steve says kissing her cheek
You wrap your arms around Steve neck as he pulling you closer by the waist locking his arms around you.
"I need to go see my mum" you say pulling away as Dustin calls out for Steve
"I'll see you soon, okay?" Steve says kissing your forehead
"I'll see you soon"
You and Steve split off as he goes over to Dustin while you meet over with Joyce and Will.
"Listen to me, i need to end this" Joyce says Will "But i will be back before you know it, okay?"
"I don't know, mum" Will says to her
"No, listen. You're gonna be safe there. It's far away from all this. You just stick close to (y/n) and do whatever she says" Joyce tells him
"I'm not worried about me, mum. I'm worried about you" Will tells her
"Oh, i'm gonna be fine. Okay? I'm gonna be fine" Joyce says pulling the him into a hug
"Okay, mum. That's enough" Will says to her as Joyce squishes
"I'm gonna be fine"
"Mum, i can't breathe" Will tells her "You're suffocating me"
Joyce let's Will go to talk to his friends and she turns to her older child.
"Now you have to be extremely careful. This thing is after you" Joyce says pointing her finger at you
"Mum, if i see that thing i'm running in the other direction then them" you say pointing to the group "I'm not letting them get hurt again for me"
"Don't be stupid and get yourself hurt" Joyce says worried
"I won't, i can kill it i know i can" you say with a deep breath "You be careful. I know what it's like down there and there are Russians everywhere"
"Don't worry about me. Keep them and yourself safe" Joyce says before pulling you into a hug "I love you, sweetie"
"I love you too, mum"
You pull away from Joyce and walk over to Will again as the group start to walk out to Nancys car where you help El into the back of the car.
Nancy and Jonathan sit in the front seat as you sit in the back with Will, Max and Lucas. Nancy puts her keys in the ignition and goes to start it but it doesn't.
"What's wrong?" Jonathan asks her
"I don't know" she says as she keeps trying but it still doesn't work "You can't be serious. Come on?"
"Didn't your mum just by this car?" Lucas asks her
"I'm sure it's fine" Nancy's says
"Did you leave the lights on?" Will asks
"No" Nancy answers
"Do we have gas?" Lucas asks
"Yes!" Nancy yells and she try's again
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Just stop, stop! Pop the hood" Jonathan says and the two get out of the car
Not far from them in the empty parking lot sits Billy in his car as he starts revving the engine making everyone turn to the noice.
"Back in the mall!" Nancy yells at knocking on the window
You help El out of the car with Mike as they quickly make their way back into the mall where Mike separates from you and El to try and contact Steve and the others.
"Scoops Troop, i repeat, do you copy? We're trapped in the mall and in need of emergency transportation. Scoops Troop, do you copy? Billy has found us" Mike says on to the walkie
"Your gonna kill him, aren't you?" Max asks Nancy as she gets the gun out
"This is just a precaution, okay" Nancy tells her "(y/n) is doing the killing"
"Jesus, i'm not killing him" you tell her
"And not just against Billy. If he knows we're here, so does the Mind Flayer " Will says to Max
"That's who i'm killing" you say to them
"Scoops Troop, i repeat, we are in need of emergency transportation. Do you copy?" Mike says again
You looking over to Mike to see him walk past the car the El flipped over.
"No chance that thing will drive, right?" you ask them
"We don't need it to drive. We just need to ignition cable"
