Example no. 07: Who's there?

Being a vlogger was just Taehyung's hobby. He got a decent job as an employer at the company. But vlogging somehow become his job too if he got a sponsor. Also, the main reason for his popularity was because of his 12:30 theory in his every vlog.

Since the glitch thingy in his vlogs, his subscribers were trying to find an answer about it, but they kept failing because there's no explanation for it.

But Taehyung got here for that too because some speculations said that he was using his subscriber's naive mindset to get more views from people, but in fact, he doesn't have any idea about that stuff.

“So, today we're in Changdeoggung Palace, and I'm here to show you how beautiful this palace is at midnight.”

Taehyung was doing a live to his subscribers as a part of his surprise for reaching the 10 million milestones. He always surprises his subscribers to thank them for helping him gain views and popularity as well.

He was apparently alone in the palace after his team rented it for today's live. He got his team with him, but they were in the van to make sure they won't bother Taehyung and to protect their identity.

“Please get inside the palace… Okay, I will, let's go now.” Taehyung responded to a comment and went inside the palace.

He described and praised the palace, but also made sure not to ruin something.

“Look, there's a door over there.” Taehyung rotates his camera to show them the door.

The comments were filled with “Get inside” and “Check that too, kekeke.”

Of course, Taehyung went inside the room. But something felt odd with his surrounding, he felt negatively heavy, unlike the other places of the palace. This room made him feel chills.

“This must be a room of a royalty member.” Taehyung uttered, looking around the room.

He put the camera on the top of the mini table and sat down on the floor to get a proper view of himself.

“This room is cozy, but it's oddly feeling weird at the same time.” Taehyung told his viewers.

He looked at his laptop and phone to read the comments and to interact with them.

“Are you with someone?”

That comment caught Taehyung's attention.

“No, I'm all alone, my team was outside right now.” Taehyung replied with a smile on his face.

“Why there's a shadow beside you?”

Taehyung read that silently, he felt scared, but he thought it might be some prank because the room was somewhat dark with only the light of the lamp and the moon from the window.

“Aish, stop pranking me, that won't work.” He giggled it out.

But he didn't know that there was a literal shadow beside him that didn't belong to him.

“My screen's glitching again? Wait, let me fix my camera then.”

Taehyung took his camera to “fix” the problem, but when he looked at his laptop, the glitching was still there. He ended the live for a moment to check if the malfunction was on his laptop or the internet.

But it's weird, Taehyung was sure there was nothing with his laptop. He looked at his phone and realized it was already 12:30 am and the time he ended his live was also 12:30 minutes only.

When a minute passed, he was able to fix his live but his screen was showing a guy with black eyes. He also noticed that the guy was saying something, but it sounded like a whisper and gibberish instead.

He flinched when the audio got louder for some unbeknownst reason. And the guy's voice gets annoying as if it were palpitating in his brain.

Suddenly, it ended, he hazily looked at his laptop and saw the guy smirking at him.

“You're mine, Taehyung.”

Taehyung immediately shut his laptop, but the guy on his laptop became real. He was now sitting in front of Taehyung with his black eyes.

“Only mine”

That guy with black eyes grabbed him by his neck and pinned him on the floor. Taehyung could barely breathe, he tried to touch the guy, but why couldn't he do that?

Why can't he touch him?

The guy forced him to open his mouth using the other hand. And unbeknownst to Taehyung, he saw black smoke from that guy's mouth as if he were sucking the energy and soul out of Taehyung's body.

Taehyung felt like losing his breath and everything gets uneasy. His eyesight was getting blurry, and he didn't even realize that he passed out.
