With big names graduating at the end of the season, Coach Vaughan knows that now is the time to strike and strike hard. The Red Raiders would return to ECAC Hockey championship weekend for the third time since Don Vaughan took over the head coaching position at Colgate University. New names emerge as leaders and that includes Cory Murphy on the defensive side of the puck. Colgate would go onto lose to Princeton to end their championship dreams in the ECAC Hockey semifinals but hope was abound. Coach Vaughan's seventh season on campus at Colgate University was another heartbreaking loss in the postseason as he hasn't gotten the big wins when it becomes crunch time. A new season is about to be upon us and Vaughan will look for revenge for a eighth time.
