After returning to behind the bench, Coach Vaughan and the Raiders return to the ice and this would be one of Vaughan's best seasons at Colgate as he had his second consecutive 20 win season but this story would not have a happy ending as the maroon and white would go onto lose to the Cornell University Big Red in the ECAC Hockey semifinals in Albany to end their chances of winning the Whitelaw Cup. Don Vaughan wraps up his twelfth season at the helm with 20 wins for the second straight year which is something that he should be proud of but should look forward to more success in coming years!
