Due to time constraints, we simulate to March of 2008 as Colgate welcomed Coach Vaughan's old team to Starr Rink and the Raiders took a 3-0 lead in period number three in game three and never looked back as the Raiders take down the Skating Saints 3-1 to avenge their loss from a season ago. David McIntyre played a massive role in Colgate's next adventure as the Raiders ventured to Potsdam and the aforementioned David McIntyre scored a double overtime goal against the hated Clarkson Golden Knights to eliminate Tech from championship contention in ECAC Hockey. Colgate's good fortunes ran out in ECAC Hockey championship weekend as they lost the semifinal 3-0 to Princeton to send the Tigers to the ECAC Hockey championship game. Coach Vaughan's sixteenth season ended in disappointment and heartbreak for the 47 year old head coach of your Colgate Raiders!
