!Suicide attempt!

These people help me recover while still having fun. The only thing I've touched since I've moved in with them is cigarettes, alcohol and weed but they don't know that. This group does things that give you adrenaline but while sober which if you asked fifteen year old me to do that I wouldn't do it.

We got up to the tall gates of the hotel. The memories came flooding back...I just put on a smile and looked at everyone. One of us need to climb over and unlock them from the inside.

"Anyone know how we can get in?" Sam asked.

"Keira can..." Corey said under his breath.

"Are you joking? We're gonna end up with breaking and entering if I do it!" I exclaimed.

"Then get us in without breaking the lock dumbass!" He shrugged.

"Come here then! Give me a boost over the wall!" I walked to the wall on the right side of the gate.

It was taller than me which is great. Corey did a wall sit against the wall and interlocking his fingers together.

"You too Colby!" I said, put my foot on Corey's hand.

"What do you want me to do?" He asked, coming over.

"Boost up my other leg when I start pulling myself up!" I reached above my head and grabbed the top of the wall.

"Ok..."

"Three...two...one!" I counted down.

Corey boosted me up as I put my other foot on the wall. Colby the back of my heel and I pulled myself up. I sat on top and shook my arms off.

"Right who's coming up next?" I asked.

"Grab the camera" Sam said, holding it to Jake.

Sam did what I did but I grabbed his hand and pulled him up for extra support. Everyone did this, slid down the wall (but Sam stayed) until it was Colby's turn. He stood on Corey's hand, me and Sam pulled him up as he wouldn't have support from someone else. We pulled him up and now it was time for Corey.

"Fuck how am I gonna do this?" He exclaimed, stepping back a bit as Colby slid down the wall.

"Do a running start and we'll pull you up!" I nodded.

"Ok..." He breathed, walking back.

"We have to get through the second floor window in a minute too!" I commented.

"Fucksake..." He laughed.

"Ready?" I asked, holding my hand out.

He ran up and me and Sam grabbed one hand each. With Corey's climbing up the wall and is pulling him up, we managed to get him on the wall. Him and Sam got to the other side as I looked to see if anything fell out of their bags.

"Keira I'll catch you!" Colby joked, holding out his hands.

"Absolutely not!" I laughed, starting to climb down.

I held the top and my shoes scraped against the wall, until I lost my grip. Fuck. I fell back with a small scream that lasted a second. Everyone gasped as they came to catch me but Colby actually did like he said.

"Told you!" He said, holding me bridal style.

"Fuck off!" I chuckled nervously as he put me down.

"You alright?!" Sam asked quickly.

"Yeah I'm fine!" I nodded, slightly dizzy from the shock and the fact I haven't slept and running off Jake's chicken nuggets and monster but overall it was fun.

"You sure?" Kat said softly, holding my shoulder.

"I'm good!" I insisted, they all seemed more panicked than I was.

"Right what window we getting through?" Jake asked, looking at the building.

It was a standard looking 5 star hotel but was graffitied, windows were smashed, paint was peeling off and it was starting to fall apart.

"That one...the one with no glass at all!" I pointed at the window above the entrance, it had a roof over it with pillars shaped pillars so all we had to do was climb up them.

"That's easy!" Corey scoffed.

"I wouldn't be saying that when you pull yourself through it!" I smirked, walking over to the right pillar.

"Pass me the camera when I'm up there so the rest of you can get up!" I demanded.

•••

We all got into the hotel fine, it was hard for the girl especially (you know because we have curves). We were now walking through a hallway, some doors are still intact, the rest are hanging on by one hinge or not at all.

"This is actually so cool..." Tara said softly, holding onto Jake's arm as we walked up the stairs to the roof.

"Nice view..." I said slowly, looking at the edge.

"Yeah..." Sam pointed the camera at me as I took a cigarette out my pocket, "Don't set the place on fire"

"I won't!" I lit the end and took a puff.

"Thanks Keira!" Jake reached over my head from behind me and took the roll.

"What the fuck!" I turned around to see him take a puff, "Give me that! You're gonna give me herpes or whatever disease you got!" I joked, taking it back off him.

"I don't have herpes" He said looking at the camera.

I went to Colby and interlocked our fingers together.

"You alright?" He whispered.

"Yeah..." I took a breath in.

"What's wrong?" He looked down at me.

"Nothing!" I smiled, "Scared of heights remember?"

Ironic how someone who is scared of heigh us tried to jump from the top of a hotel.

"You're safe up here! I have you don't worry!" He put his arm around me, letting go of my hand.

"Holy shit we're high up!" Jake was stood near the edge looking down.

-Flashback-

I got up onto the ledge, steadying myself in the wind. A tear fell down my face as I looked down. I checked the date on my phone.

April 28th 2019
11:53pm

I turned thirteen a few months ago, joined high school in September. It's all been fucked since then. I don't know what's happened to me. I just don't see the point.

I stood there for a few minutes. Then Zach came into my head, I imagined him finding out I had finally did it, him reading the letter I left under my pillow. What about Sam? How do he going to react? He'll be alone with our parents arguing...he won't have his little sister anymore.

I stepped down and fell to my knees, dropping my phone beside me.

-Flashback ends-

"Keira!" Sam called, my eyes shifted to him they were by door to the stairs, "You zoned out! Come on we're going down to the beach!"

"Sorry!" The fake ass smile returned to my face as we went down the stairs.

Colby's arm was around me the entire time, he seemed worried and scared. Fuck. He knows something is up other than my fear.
