The way my teen years went I thought it was normal to have police at your door. Apparently it isn't.

There is a lot of people in our house right now it's actually kind of scary. I know most of them but I still got changed (outfit above) and locked my bedroom door.

Everyone was drinking and Amber was staring  me down from across the room. I was leaning against the counter, sipping a drink when Nate come up beside me.

"So we haven't caught up much..." He said, grabbing a drink and leaning against the opposite counter to face me.

"Ok..." I smiled.

"So I know you and Colby are dating but what else is going on?" He tilted his head.

"Not much actually...unless you wanna be bummed out for the rest of the day!" I shrugged.

"That bad huh?"

"Probably worse than you can think of...but what about you?" I asked.

"You know I dropped out my senior year and I've traveled America...I'm going back this year though!"

"Really?! Where have you been?" I beamed.

"Uhm...Hawaii, LA, Texas at some point, San Diego, New York..." He listed.

"Holy shit!" I sat up on the counter.

"So why are you living here in a house full of eighteen year olds at parties instead of going to school and living with your parents?" He questioned.

"I was unhappy in school so I dropped out, I was also unhappy at home so I moved out and quite literally this morning I was disowned!" I said with a smile.

"Oh shit..." He mumbled.

"Nah it's fine I kinda brought it on myself!" I shrugged, "So tell me more about the senior year! When did you get back?"

"During the summer actually!"

We talked for a while, I forgot how caring and funny he was. As we were talking I felt a look drill into me so I started to look around and saw Colby who looked angry but also hurt? Was he jealous?

"Who wants to play Truth or Dare?" Jake called.

It's always Jake I swear I agreed and sat in between the arm of the couch and Colby. His hand immediately placed on my thigh but it was tighter than usual.

"Ow Colby..." I said quietly, looking over at him.

He loosened his grip but didn't say anything.

"Who's starting?" Jake asked, leaning back into his seat.

"I will..." Zach piped up, "Truth or dare...Kat!"

"Dare!" She sat up.

"Kiss the girl you get along with best in the room..." Zach smiled.

Kat stood up and walked in my direction, she held my jaw and put her lips on mine. When she pulled away my eyes were widened, she Southend at me before sitting down.

"Blushing are we?" Zach teased.

"Be quiet Zach!" I reached my foot over and kicked him in the leg.

We played a few rounds until it landed on Amber.

"Amber truth or dare?" Nate asked.

"Dare!" She said with a cocky tone, god I hate her.

"Kiss the hottest person in the room!"

She was sat next to Colby so she grabbed his jaw and kissed him. They pulled away and she shot a smirk at me, I took a breath in before looking forward. It was happening again, the anger. I felt the surge build up inside me.
