It's Always An Honor To Save You

Chapter Three

Your POV:

I'm walking down this street to Mark's house and to be honest. I am kinda scared. I don't wanna be judged, but watching Mark's channel tells me he won't judge me. I felt my body getting tense again so I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I have to stay calm and relaxed otherwise Oreo will get uncomfortable and try to jump out of my arms. Oreo doesn't have his front claws so letting him run off could kill him. The outside world is too dangerous. I didn't know that a car was coming so Mark gently grabbed my arm and pulled me out of the street. I think he can tell that I am just not in the right state of mind right now. He stayed kinda close to me as if he was trying to keep me safe. I really appreciated this but I feel like I don't deserve this. It's too late to change my mind now. We finally made it to his house. We walked up to his house and he let me in. I put Oreo on the floor in his living room then realized I don't have a litter box any more.

"Uh, Mark," I said.

"I know, I use to have a cat so I have a litter box Oreo can use," Mark replied

"Oh, thanks," I said.

Mark's POV:

(F/N) first concern was her cat, which I found kinda adorable. I then realized the only other place in my house to sleep besides my bed was the couch. She was already having a bad day and my bed is way more comforting.

"You can take my bed," I said. "I'll sleep on the couch."

She replied, "You don't have to do that."

"No, really," I said. "You can sleep in my room."

"Thank you so much," She said with a smile.

I love seeing her smile. It makes me feel like I am doing something right. I then realized she doesn't have anything to sleep in. I know those shorts wouldn't be to easy to sleep in.

"If you want, you can sleep in one of my shirts tonight," I said.

"Okay," She replied, "Thanks for everything."

I smiled as she walked into my bedroom and curled up on the couch. I think tomorrow morning I'm gonna take her shopping. She has nothing so I think spending some money on her wouldn't be a big deal. Also spending money on Oreo isn't a big deal either. The cat has to eat something.
