CHAPTER 31

-Ladies first- he says opening my apartment's door.

I smile at him as i enter, seeing that they had tidied up everything.

-At least we don't have to clean anything- he says smiling a little.

I nod as I lay down on the couch, feeling so tired.

He lays besides me, cuddling me- are you tired??- he hums in my neck.

-pretty much- I say yawning as i feel my eyes closing.

-sleepyhead- he says giggling and pecking my lips.

I open my eyes feeling disoriented. I try to extend my arm to hug Chase but it ends up falling on the couch, making me look up to see where he was.

-Chase??- i call him rubbing my eyes, not seeing him anywhere in the living room.

I stand up looking at the clock- half past two- i read, i had been sleeping for hours. I hear my stomach roaring, since the last food i had was a coffee 5 hours ago.

I start looking for him in the apartment, not finding him anywhere. I try to call him and I start hearing his phone buzzing on the kitchen island, I turn it over in case that I was just dreaming or something but no, it was his phone, me sleeping still being his wallpaper. I immediately see 15 messages from Xio. God does that girl leave him alone??
I know I shouldn't be doing this but not even a second later I find myself reading the messages.

This can't be happening, not again, a few tears roll down my face and some minutes later i find myself getting out of the apartment, i needed to talk to him, he couldn't be that far, i thought to myself, getting out of the apartment and going to look for him.

I hear my apartment's door closing and I immediately remember that I didn't have my keys here, fuck.
I start walking through the halls, thinking that he might just appear magically.
Maybe he went out for food, but he would have taken his phone right? or at least he would have left a note.
I continue walking, expecting find something when I hear a familiar voice.

-Yeah, see you later then- he says, i can hear him getting closer.

This couldn't be happening, i try to go in another way but there was not a possible exit, fuck, fuck and fuck i think to myself.

He sees me and his jaw and smile drop.

I don't know what to do so I just wave my hand- erm..hi Austin- i say in a silent voice that i highly doubt he heard.
