CHAPTER 43

Two hours later I'm finally done. I was unpacking my things a few hours ago and know I have to prepare it all again. Thanks god I packed some bikinis because I'm guessing we'll take some baths in the lake.

Chase had gone to pick Griffin up from his girlfriend's house and Rylie was lying now in Chase's bed while I finished packing everything.

-I'm finally donee- I say lying down next to her- Do you know where are we going?- i ask her.

-Mhmm- she nods- to the lake house right?

-Yeah, is it that special for you?

-Well not that much, I was really little when our grandma took us there so it just doesn't have the same value to me i guess, but I love going there- she explains- and don't even doubt that Chase will cry tomorrow, he hasn't been there since our grandma died and he doesn't even know we are going so it'll be emotive.

-It must be, he hardly ever cries- I say.

-I know, I probably have seen him crying once, at our grandma funeral, that's it- she says- when have you seen him crying though?

-Well, apart from set, because his character doesn't have the best time at the end- I say- um.. it's kind of um.. long but a guy tried to rape me and Chase just got in my apartment in time, the next days I wasn't really talking, nor eating since it wasn't the first time that happened to me so once I tried drowning myself, he caught me though and started crying, and then when I told him I didn't want to be with him anymore he broke down.

-Wow, I don't even know what to say, I'm so sorry that happened to you- she says rubbing my arm.

-It's okay- i say- I guess time heals it all.

-Can I ask you why did you tell him you didn't want to see him anymore?

I smile a bit- It's also long and complicated but that same day I got almost raped, we had to film a sex scene on set and Xiomara was there, I heard them arguing twice that day and I knew how toxic their relationship was, Chase used to have anxiety attacks and I always tried to calm him down so when I told our boss I couldn't film if she was there she started yelling at me.

-I never liked her i swear- Rylie says- she was like that even when she was at our house? And poor Chase had to deal with it all, what happened after that?- she asks interested.

-While she was yelling at me I just couldn't hold my temper any longer so I told her how bad she was treating Chase and after that everyone went immediately quiet and they all left that set, then Chase told me he was disappointed with me and 30 minutes later I was drunk in a PUB.

-Wow, that's crazy- she says.

-I know, at first when he came into my apartment and saw what was happening I was so thankful but then after spending a whole night there I started overthinking and thought it would be good for us to get some space, also earlier that same day we almost kissed and told each other's our feelings, but of course Xiomara interrupted us.

-Girl, that sounds so crazy, what you've been trough, I would have never imagined it.

I smile a bit.

-I'm actually so happy you are dating my brother, I really see a future between you two and I was so happy when he told me he broke up with Xio- she says.

-Well, I'm also so happy his siblings are nice because with my ex, his siblings were extremely annoying and judgmental.

-Yeah sa-

-Hii- Chase says opening the door- do i interrupt anything??

We both roll our eyes- no you don't, byee- Rylie says- oh also- she says stopping and leaning in the door frame- we did hear you last night, and god, y'all are aggressive huh?
