Morning Sunrise

We changed into warmer clothes. I went back to my room to wear joggers with a hoodie. Five minutes later we met in the hallway and then walked together a few minutes through the stepped in ways to the beach.

"I still feel a bit drunk or the hangover slowly coming up." Conrad said as we walked.

"Same. I feel the hangover is going to be real bad." I laughed.

"Yup..." He sighed and we caught eyes.

We arrived at the beach and sat down in the sand watching the waves crash down.
"This is nice." I said as I sat next to him.

He nodded agreeing. "How is your cheek?"

"I don't know... I can still feel it. How does it look?" I showed him the side of my face.

"Bruised. You gonna have a black eye."

"Then I look badass."

He laughed. "Yeah exactly. Kinda hot."

I looked at him and laughed, after bit of silence I spoke again. "Uhm, do you... do you remember anything that happened last night?"

We looked at each other for a second and then he spoke up. "I always remember everything when I drink. Do you?"

"Yes." I said and we looked at each other again, both knowing what happened yesterday, also what happened in the car and how we fell asleep cuddling. But we didn't say a word about it.

Instead Conrad got a joint out of his pocket and lightened it up. He took a few drags.

"Can I have a puff?" I asked and leaned a bit against his shoulder.

"No." He said and tensed a bit as our bodies touched.

"Yes."

"No."

"Yeah."

He didn't respond and after more back and forth he gave in. "Fine."

"You can't say no to me." I grinned at him and he laughed.

"Please." He rolled his eyes. "You cant just stop and I have to give in."

"You don't have to do anything." I told him.

He laughed and snatched the blunt out of my hand. We shared it for a while in silence. The sun was rising and the sunrise was beautiful.

"Let's go back maybe someone got the muffins this morning." I yawned.

"I don't think anyone went out to get them." Conrad shook his head.

"But we can go back, I'm getting tired again. Maybe I can get some sleep before the rest wakes up."
