Prologue
I was extremely happy to be back for the summer at Cousins beach. I love Susannah's beach house so much. I needed this summer.
The year had been hard, Ben and I broke up. He had cheated on me with some girl on a party. He said he was drunk so it didn't matter but of course it did and I didn't care if he was drunk that changed nothing. We had been together for four years. The break up was depressing, I couldn't get out of bed for weeks and after a month my friends could get me to go to parties, a good distraction. A toxic distraction but it helped. The summer was a perfect opportunity to find myself again and forget everything that reminded me of Ben.
I went to Cousins Beach every year since I am little. It was always the favourite time of the year for Charlie and I. This year we were even more exited to go to Cousins beach again. Because it was the year before Charlie and Steven were off to Uni . Belly and I had been talking about it for a month now, we were both super happy to see the boys again. We were all like a big family and best friends. The boys and Belly are my favourite people on earth. I love them so much. We know us since we were born and couldn't imagine a life without them. I am happy to be back and excited for what the summer will bring.
