Dabi x Hawks Oneshots

💙City or your Lover?💙- Angst

It was late afternoon when Keigo was going through some childhood photo albums. He smiled at the photo's sadly as he saw the pictures of his late best friend, Toya. 

The two boys were inseprable when they were younger. Only seperated when one of them died.

Keigo wouldn't admit it, expecially when he was little, but half of him died that day as well. He still blames himself for what happen.

When Keigo felt a tear fall down his face when looking at the photos he closed the book and put it on a shelf and went to go cook some food for himself.

He has been put on a stressful assignment for right now, he has to infultrate the League of villians and gain their trust.

Of course he was fine with it... its just... whatever... he threw the thought out of his mind, choosing to focus on cooking some simple french toast. 

Today was the day he needed to speak to Dabi, the one he would have to gain the trust of. So as he was flying to their meet up, french toast in hand, he had time to think about Toya.

On the outside, everyone thought Keigo and Toya were just really close best friends, but their friendship was much closer when they were little. They claimed to eachother that they loved eachother and so decided they would date eachother, promising to never seperate from eachother.

Hawks finally arrives to the meeting spot, he mind still clouded with the thoughts of the late Toya. His head cleared when he heard his friends voice.

"Toya?" Hawks looked up, hoping to see his friend but all he saw was the villain Dabi. Putting it down to his clouded thoughts Hawks returned to buisness. 

What Hawks didn't realise was that Dabi stood frozen as he heard his old name, from his old friend no less.

"Oh its you..." Hawks replied a little dissapointed.

"Yes it's me. Who else?" Dabi retorted, "Don't even regonise your old friend?" He muttered the last part.

"Sorry? Old friend? I have only seen you as a villain." Hawks said confused before he couldn't say more when a massive explosion hit and a building was falling. 

A villain attack.

"Shit... Gonna have to post-pone our little talk Dabi..." Hawks said annoyed, flying up and about to head to help people before Dabi called his name.

"Keigo! Would you rather save the city or your lover?" He shouts up at Hawks but Hawks ignores him, not understanding what he was talking about or how he knew his name. He doesn't have a lover. He died...

Hawks keeps flying towards the massive villain attack and immidiately starts to do his job as a Hero. Flying around rescuing people why effortlessly defeating the villain.

Hawks was flying back to him and Dabi's meet up spot but only to find no one. He looked around and around and found nothing until he saw someone lying down. He quickly ran over to it to find Dabi... unresponsive.

"Dabi? Dabi! Is this some sick joke?" He accused then just stood up. Thats one of the deadliest villains dead then...

He checked the corpse for anything still, eventually finding a note. He opened it and read.

To my beloved Keigo,

If you are reading this I died because of you saving the city... You may not believe it but I am the friend you lost all those years ago. I'm Toya. I look completly different now but think about it... How do I know your name is Keigo? How do I know the secret we shared, only between us is? Because I'm Toya.

Thank you Keigo, I love you.

Hawks finished reading the letter. completly confused as to what just happened.

Dabi was Toya? No way... but everything... everything was pointing to that answer.

Hawks couldn't help but cry over the dead mans body, whether he was Toya or not, Hawks just couldn't handle the new thoughts and feelings he buried for years.

Hey guys. REALLY long wait. sorry... but i got like 3 smut chapters left of this story so enjoy it while it lasts.
