It's a 8 hour drive to grass valley so is everyone ready. For the 8 hour car ride no because we'll be researching the entire time. And we woke up at 4:00 in the damn morning. Hey to be fair we don't really know why it's haunted. And our check in is at 3:00 for the Holbrooke. Yea and so we'll be researching the entire time because you guys don't know. Hey cheer up Ronnie you get a break from sketching ideas for merch. Sort of I might get ideas while on the trip and sketch them anyways. That is true but you don't have to anyways everyone let's get in the Tesla. Everyone ready to go we are going to stop at some charging stations on the way there. Hey Sammy we know that we'll be stopping at charging stations but thanks for telling us. Colby goes on our shared account and goes on the story and says were off to another hotel with two special guests. Comment who it is on the new post and we'll see if your right.

While were on the road Colby and I research the Holbrooke. Hey here's something there was a fire in 1855 that burned down the saloon that they had and hotel. And that it was called the Golden Gate saloon then added the hotel which was called the exchange hotel. Then it was built back quite quickly then in 1862 the hotel caught on fire again. Then after that fire it became the two story hotel that we see in pictures today. Oh shit that's some information God damn thanks Ronnie. Your welcome Colbs I'm going to now research the town. Of course you are Ronnie because you want to look up something else. Hey I want to know the town alright I don't want to stick out like I did the first time we moved to Los Angeles. You didn't stick out Ronnie you were exploring like Sam and I. Yea but remember when you had party's and everyone asked what was wrong with me. Because I'd always give our code I stuck out and everyone asked why you guys brought me. They did not ask us why we brought you to the party you never stuck out Ronnie. Alright then ask Brennan what his first impression of me was because I can tell you. Alright then what do you think his first impression was of you then. He thought that I was a friend visiting you two and thought I was very weird.
Colby POS
He didn't think that Ronnie he just was surprised by you. What is that supposed to mean Colby hmm. Hey we don't want another Colby and Veronica brawl in the car. Alright fine then let's continue the research on the hotel. Okay here's some info U.S. Presidents Ulysses S. Grant, Grover Cleveland, Benjamin Harrison and James Garfield spent time there. And even prize fighters "Gentleman Jim" Corbett and Bob Fitzsimmons. Authors Mark Twain and Bret Harte spent time there as well. Then rumor has it that the infamous highwayman Black Bart was a guest, sometime between stagecoach robberies and writing poems. That's a lot of awesome information that this town has.

I drop off kiwi with Stas and start to head to Grass Valley. When I finally get to Grass Valley I park in one of the parking lots in their downtown area. I look at some shops as I wait for Sam, Colby and Ronnie. I head to the library and look up some more information about the town. While I wait I look up events that happened during the olden day's from the gold rush to fires.

So far that's all I got but I'll let you know when I find something. You always find things you just don't tell us till we already found it. I do not do that to you guys. Tell me one time I did that to you both. When we were driving to L.A. from home after we graduated. I told you both cool info you just weren't listening. You didn't because I would remember that you did. I did too Sammy you were on the phone with your mother saying that we were almost to California. Oh yea I was sorry Ronnie. Your forgiven Sammy don't accuse me of things anymore. Hey I can if you take something of mine or Colby's things. No you can't because I wouldn't take such things so just continue driving.

You were right Ronnie the town is cool they have a lot of shops. Aww look Ronnie they have their own little ice cream shop. Colby you know I'm lactose intolerant asshole. I know I just wanted to mess with you. You bitch Sam can we find a parking spot so I can beat the shit out of Colby please. Why are you so moody right now is it cramp week. No Colby it's because I've been in a car for 8 hours researching the hotel and town we are in. You could have easily said that you didn't want to go then you wouldn't be here. But you said that you wanted to come so that's on you. Excuse me do you not want now or never and take chances merch designs for a week. Go right ahead I don't care Ronnie besides you need a break anyways. Ow why'd you punch my arm Ronnie. Because you're annoying me Colby that's why. Can both of you stop acting like children please we are about to go out in public. Fine we will stop Sammy but if he annoys me anymore I'll beat the crap out of him. Yea wait what no you won't Ronnie because you don't like people watching you basically.
Veronica POS
Get out of the car before I punch you so hard you will have a bruise.  The next time you go to your chemo treatment it will still be there from how hard I punched you. Jesus Christ you woke up on the wrong side of the seat didn't you. No I just don't want to be in the Tesla anymore so Sam find a damn parking spot. I'm trying to Ronnie they're roads are small that all the cars are either parked in spots or driving on the roads. Okay then just find the next one so I can punch Colby more then just in the car. No no don't you dare Ronnie. Try me Colby you have annoyed me and my phone died so I couldn't listen to my music to hold myself back before I punch you. Why are you so violent right now Ronnie. Because Sam he is basically like a sibling to me me which means he can easily annoy me. Still you don't need to punch him everytime he annoys you. I'm aware of that Sam he doesn't always annoy me it's just some things do. Yea I do that don't I Ronnie and I apologize every time that I do. You do Colby and that's why I only tackle you when you really piss me off.
(Sam finally finds a parking spot)

Okay so now that we are all checked in Ronnie and I are going to check out some stores. Come on Ronnie let's head to the book seller so you can get more books. Correction look to see what books they have. Oh you know you'll buy them anyways come on. Bye guys we will meet you back here at 6:30 to figure out what we all want for dinner. Okay be safe it's a new town which means people we don't know. We know Sam thanks though we will see you later. Let's head to that mural and take a picture of us to confuse people. Alright that's a beautiful mural though it probably took a long ass time. Your not wrong come on I bet the fans won't know where we- KATRINA !! We look over to see two girls running to us. Hey guys so as you can tell were here in Grass Valley. Is Sam or Colby, Stas with you guys since there's a two haunted hotels in our towns. Um no it's just Veronica and me we are taking a girl's trip. Wait who are you one the girls points at Ronnie and asks. She's my friend Veronica and if you look back in some videos of the guys personal channels she's in a couple videos. Wait yea your Veronica Mavis you were in one of Sam's Midnight man videos you were scared everytime someones candle went out.

A/N just to let you know the Holbrooke hotel is a real place in California. And so is the towns. The research that they did in the car ride is also true I researched it while I was writing this chapter. You can look it up to see for yourselfs. Anyways hope you enjoy the book
