Were back and we ran into two fans when we were about to take a picture of us next to the mural. Cool a mural which one, so there's fans here in the town that's awesome. Um the one that says grass valley in gold letters next their book store. Yea one of them didn't know who Ronnie was and the other one did because of your midnight man videos. Which makes sense because Ronnie isn't really on our social media. I think the only pictures I have of Ronnie on my Instagram is a happy birthday and old pictures of me Colby and her for accomplishments. So how is the town find any cool dinner places cause we are hungry. There is Pete's pizza, pasties, Sergios and the towns brewery that sells food. That's all they have really wow they don't have a McDonald's or a Starbucks even. Thats what they have in their downtown area they probably do have big company restaurants we can just look it up. See they have McDonald's and wow three Starbucks a KFC a taco Bell and Wendys. And some more like a burger King and a burgers and cream etc. So where exactly are those restaurants because it's not downtown. It looks like that they're either on the other side of town or at least a couple blocks away.

How big is this town god damn do they have a Walmart or target. They have a target up by supposedly a old Kmart. They had a Kmart for how long God damn this town is old. Colby that's just rude you don't know this town. True it seems like a awesome town like back in Kansas right guys. Yea they even have their own ice cream shop it has chocolate and ice cream. Oh then let me guess you are going to get some Ronnie. Only if they have lactose free chocolate and ice cream yes. Well why don't we all go and look around their downtown. Yea and we can ask the locals about the history. That sounds like a tourist said to Sam one day before we left for Cali. Yea they asked me if I was a local and where to get some good food. I remember that you told them to go to a subway as a joke. Yea they thought you were joking weren't you with Ben when they asked you. Come on let's get going I'm hungry and I want to try their towns pizza place. I heard that they have mac and cheese bites. Okay okay come on let's get some food so Colby can stop pushing us to the door. I'm not pushing you guys to the door I'm just hungry and want to explore the town before we film the video. I call bull Colbs for the fact that you immediately put on your shoes and sweatshirt as soon as we entered.

Well we got here at noon and it's now 5:00. So if you're so hungry you could have gotten something to eat when we got here. I wasn't hungry then I had burger from Jack in the box. Well then come on let's see what you both want Kat and I know what we want. You do wait is it what I think it is please don't be. Yep it's what you think it is Sammy and Kat is on board. Of course she is because you and her explored the downtown when we got here. What's that supposed to mean Sammy. Do you not want me to bond more with her. What do want me your friends that I don't know much about her when they ask me about her. Come on let's go to their pizza place that isn't a corporate pizza place.

So are we all ready for this paranormal video. We have extra batteries for the camera and the other equipment. No Ronnie and I aren't we never are because you and Colby always split us up. Well cheer up Kat maybe this time they won't do it right guys. You will have to wait and see guys okay Colby you have the camera. Yes dude alright everyone ready to start this investigation. As long as Ronnie and I aren't going to be split up from you two yea. Alrighty then let's get this video started. Okay so we are here in Grass valley California. And today we are going to be at two hotels sort of like the Clown motel, Mizpah, and the goldfield hotel. But this time with the Holbrooke hotel that we are at and the National Exchange hotel. Or how the locals call it the National which is in Nevada City. Wait what we didn't agree to that did we Ronnie. Yea guys we didn't agree to going to the National we didn't do any research for that hotel.

Yeah about that while these two were exploring Grass Valley. Colby and I did research on the National exchange hotel which we will get to later on. Which Katrina and our best friend Veronica here will go to and do the Estes method. Wait what no guys we didn't agree to this Sam and Colby just told us. All Kat and I knew about was going to the Holbrooke that's it. Yea while on the car ride here Colby and Veronica did research on the Holbrooke hotel. When we got here Colby and I did research on the hotel in Nevada City. So right now let's find out why this hotel is what it is. So in the gold rush era in 1850 to be exact their were a couple called the smiths. They built the Golden Gate saloon then a year after they built a one story hotel. It was behind the saloon the hotel was called the exchange hotel. It was named for convince from the local Gold Exchange that was going on. Then in 1855 a fire broke out and burned down the hotel and saloon and most of the town. It quickly got rebuilt afterwards then another fire broke out only this time in 1862. Which burned down the hotel and saloon once again. They rebuilt it again only to the two story hotel that is here today. They even fortified it this time with heavy iron doors. For the roof it is dirt and brick so another fire wouldn't break out again.

Then in 1879 the hotel was purchased by Ellen and Daniel Holbrooke. They named it the Holbrooke and it hasn't changed since this day. Then in 1884 Daniel dies and the wife Ellen manages it. She manages and operates the hotel until 1908. But over time it had 4 presidents stay here Grant, Cleveland, Harrison and Garfield. It also had two prize fighters at the time "gentlemen Jim" Corbett and Bob Fitzsimmons. Even authors Mark Twain and Bret Harte spent time here but when it was the golden saloon. There's even a rumor that infamous highway man Black Bart was a guest. In between stagecoach robberies and writing poems he stayed here. Supposedly on the right evening famous female entertainers Lola Crabtree and Emma Nevada are here as well. Then in 1974 it was declared a state landmark like the Whaley House in San Diego. That's what we could find there is probably more about it but that's all we could find. We wouldn't know all this information it wasn't for our lovely guest Veronica who's a bookworm. And Kat for looking some info up while she and Ronnie were at the towns library. Some of these places that we give information about is from this one right here. Aww thank you but seriously I just wanted to know more about this hotel. That I thought was going to be the only one we would be at. You both really like to just surprise your guests don't you. Well what do you expect from the Sam and Colby channel. Not to just leave out a piece of information from me and Katrina. A piece of information that is quite important none the less. Well I bet now you guys will be seeing less of Ronnie and Kat in our videos. Also the reason you will hear these three call me Ronnie throughout the video is because that's what they call me. Oh yea since there are some new viewers she is in some of our old videos. We will link them in the description with their links. Okay let's start this video with the first investigation. We are going to go to the lobby and see if Lola and Emma are in the lobby. Then we'll head to the bar area to see if Mr.Twain and Mr.Harte are in there. So what you're saying is that you guys are going to make us split up while in the bar. Don't say it like that Ronnie we wouldn't do that. Oh yes you would Colby you did it on multiple occasions. When we last filmed with you guys during a investigation. You did it three times in that video and so if we split up again I will tell your fans something only I know.

I'm with Ronnie on this one if we split up before she and I go to the national we won't be happy. Okay okay we won't split up before then we won't leave your sides. Good because I'm pretty sure that Ronnie would have you both on the ground in seconds. Just so you guys know Ronnie isn't really violent with them she just grew up with them. Yea I'm quite nice it's just these two are like my brothers. I don't advise you guys to beat up your siblings that's not what I want. Yea she's not condoning violence one bit we are like her older brothers. Sammy they didn't need to know that all they had to know is that your like my brothers. Well your 5'3 what do you expect Ronnie and you have a baby face like Sam and I. That's it Kat take the camera from Colby please. Alright see again this is normal Ronnie behavior when she gets annoyed with Sam and Colby. NO RONNIE PLEASE YOU ALREADY TACKLED ME TWICE THIS WEEK. And that right there is Colby yelling for his life because he knows that Ronnie shows no remorse. Isn't that right Sam, yea she left three bruises on my arm when we were in Kansas. Again guys she's not a violent person she is actually calm and nice when you get to know her past her anger.

Okay now that Ronnie and Colby are not well on the ground fighting let's get back to the investigation. Hey that makes me and Colby sound like children Sam. Well you tackled Colby over a comment about your size. You know that I don't like it when people make fun of my size Sam. Yes but you tackled Colby to the ground before we even got to lobby. Okay I see your point Sam but you know why I had to. Yes I do but still you didn't need to tackle Colby  like you did we were younger in Kansas. Fine Sam but he will be punched in the arm instead. Okay so guys we have some trigger items with us. Colby has these items in his backpack that he set down before Ronnie and him were on the ground. HEY I SAID I'M SORRY SAM - ow okay Ronnie. Colby get out the items for Lola and Emma so they both love the color purple but not just any shade they like the lavender and so does Ronnie so she is going to be our bait. WAIT WHAT NO NO NO I DIDN'T AGREE TO THAT SAM.

Hey we got rid of that attachment alright. Here Ronnie can have this lavender colored necklace. And Colby here's a shirt. Now that they have these items its not fully complete. Wait what Sam what are you not telling me here. Well Ronnie yes we have lavender colored items we also have a bottle of Jack Daniels. What is that supposed to do. Well we read that Emma specifically likes her clients drunk and passionate. What are you being serious. Yes Sam said so when you and Kat were exploring Grass valley earlier. Okay then are we supposed to do are we going to pour a shot in a glass and Colby and I are supposed to act passionate about each other. Yea because unlike Lola Emma does alot of threesomes. So is that how she died then hmm Sam. I don't know that did it say that in the research brother.
