Long ago, there was a beautiful kingdom full of many wonderful people, who had a kind king to rule over them. He was a wonderful and wise king, who knew how to rule well. The king had a son (Hunter) who was spoiled rotten. The prince always had what he wanted when he wanted it. Because of this, some of the servants who lived on the farms began to secretly disrespect the royal family and well, anyone of higher status. However, they hid it well enough for the royal family not to notice.

One of the servants, a humble and faithful servant of the king had a daughter named Melody, who was one of the most beautiful girls in the kingdom, but no one knows it. She adored her father and her other family and only wished to leave the kingdom and start anew. Just like the others, she disliked the royal family and wished that one day, they wouldn't be under their rule.

As she grew up, she learned the ways of serving the royal family. She learned to never talk back or insult or disobey anyone of higher status. She learned to bow her head and show them respect, even if that respect wasn't real.

One day, as she was bringing food to the royal table, she took a quick glimpse at the prince. He was only a little older at her, and Melody couldn't help but feel a little attracted to him. Even if he was a spoiled boy, he was indeed handsome. His blonde hair was pulled back to make him look a little sophisticated. His eyes were a light blue, the color of the sky. He smiled at her, and Melody looked down. She couldn't look like she was staring at him. As soon as she put the meals down, she quickened her pace towards the door. She was beyond embarrassed. She decided from that moment on not to go anywhere near the prince as much as possible.

That day, the prince fell in love with her. He knew it was reckless, and selfish, and stupid, but he couldn't get her face out of his head, or her long wavy hair, or those soft brown eyes. He wanted her so badly. He wanted to love her, and he wanted her to love him to. So he decided to try to get close to her from every chance he got.

Ever since then, Melody tried to avoid the prince, and the prince tried to get close to her, neither of them getting what they wanted. Melody couldn't understand the reason why the prince kept on trying to talk to her, and the prince couldn't understand why she kept her distance. So he decided to try a different approach.

"From this moment on, you will be my personal servant," he said to her. Those were the dreaded words she didn't want to hear. And that was the day...

...she snapped.
