‍‍"Karisa's character was already removed out of the story. She's the Naya that you met, right?" The author sat down next to Zion.

He nods his head. "I wonder where she is now. Will she remember her memories when she was the 'Naya' in the story?"

"I have no idea now. But if she did, she'll remember me as well. She doesn't have any clue though that i was the author."

The female smiled fondly at the thought of her. Naya was included in the story she wrote as an extra and was the main character's friend. She have grown to love Naya — the character who thought she was the main character, but is actually an extra. She had spent more time with her than the real Naya and even if it's just a story, she treated her truly as a friend. Would Naya have guessed before that one of her friends, is actually an author of the story they're inside in?

The story that she wrote, even if did end, will still be continued. The characters will continue to live especially if they're main characters. The only thing that's going to change, is that the characters have now a freedom to do whatever they would like and what their actions would be since the author would stop writing about their line in the story once she ends it.

And those extras, even though removed out of the story they were in, will then live normally like the author. They probably won't remember their memories when they were inside the story.

"Can we go out for a walk? I need fresh air." The author suggested and Zion agreed. They then went out of the author's house and takes a walk in the neighborhood.

The gust of wind blew in their direction and it was really refreshing. The young girl inhaled the air and it satisfied her. She looked towards the sky above. The sky is not in the good mood today. Will it rain? There were gray clouds in sight. But the scenery still looked amazing to her. With all the huge trees and the vivid green grass around. It's beautiful.

"Nature's always the one inspiring me in writing my book. Just look at that. It would give me ideas." The girl smiled as she roam her eyes around the place around her.

Zion, hearing this, scoffed.
"What about me, then? Am i not an inspiration? I even helped in fixing the issue in the story."

The girl laughs and smacked his arm.
"I know. You are too. But, mostly it's nature." She stuck her tongue out to him.

Zion fake gasped and dramatically puts a hand over his chest, putting a hurt expression on his face. The girl just laughed at his actions and walks ahead of him. He stopped and catches up to her as they both continued to walk slowly.

*~*~

A young girl woke up, panting heavily. She abruptly stood up from her bed and tries to calm herself down from panting so much. And when she did, she sat for a moment and think about what her dream was.

That was weird.

It was a very long dream and it was really weirding her out.

What's weirder is that it's very vivid and she still remembers it. Usually, she just forgets about her dream especially if it's long. But this is the exception. She just dreamed that she was living inside a book and then she found out she's not the real Naya and the main character. Even if it's confusing, she remembered every bit of it. She could even write it as a story!

She went over to the mirror in her bedroom and looked at herself. Nothing changed. Just the ordinary her.

What time is it now? She glanced at the grandfather clock above her book shelf.
It read 4:30. Oh, wow. She have slept so long. She must be really tired.

She wondered why her parents didn't wake her up. She climb down the stairs and saw that the house was empty. Where are they? She went to the kitchen and saw a sticky note on the refrigerator door.

What's written was that her parents went out to go shopping for groceries since they're out of stock. And that they didn't wake her up because she's probably tired. She smiled at the note and then pasted it back on the refrigerator.

Suddenly, she heard a thunder. Her eyes lit up in excitement as she ran outside and looked up. It looked like it's going to rain this afternoon. She grinned and put on her slippers, closing the door of her house and walked towards the place she usually goes to enjoy nature.

When she got there, she waited for it to rain so she could take a shower. Ever since she was a child, she always waited for the rain to take a bath from it. It's just her favorite thing. Since her parents are still not home, she can freely do it.

*~*~

‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍It was late afternoon. A while ago, it was still a nice weather with gray clouds but now, it looks like it was about to rain. The sky was dark and cloudy. Not a bit of sunlight in sight. A sign for people to go home or take a shade because the rain's going to pour it's hearts out. Just then, a thunder was heard and it was quite loud.

Zion and his girlfriend looked up at the sky and remembered something. They both look at each other and smiled. It is like the first scene in 'Paper Hearts'. Where the main character did the thing she loved doing.

When the rain starts to pour, they both shaded themselves under a huge tree so they won't get soaked.

And suddenly, a girl around the age of Zion's girlfriend was seen in their sight as she ran in the middle of the small road and danced to her hearts content. They exchanged glances and both saw how it is similar to the scene in the story. Is it..Naya?

She didn't care if she's already soaked wet by the rain. All she cared is to get to dance in the midst of it. The two saw that she loved doing it.

And when the girl turned her body and they get to see her face, they widen their eyes.

It was her. The girl who thought she was Naya and the main character. She was the girl that Zion met. She is the story's Karisa and temporary Naya.

"It's her." Zion told his girlfriend.

The author nods slowly and a smile suddenly crept into her face. "I'm glad she's here. But, did she.. remember the memories of the character she played?"

"Probably."

After a while, the rain slowly stopped. The girl that the two watched, looked up at the sky and smiled.

She then soon, catches them looking at her and furrows her eyebrows in confusion.

Since the rain is slowing down, the two went over to the girl and greeted her. The girl smiled back at them and asked them who they are.

But soon stopped when she remembered something. "Hey, i know this is going to sound weird. But, you two, were in my dream." She stared and examined them slowly.

Zion and his girlfriend exchanged glances at each other and smiled excitedly.

They want to tell her it isn't a dream. And that she was actually inside a book before, but then got removed already because she was just an extra. But they preferred not to tell. Let just things stay the way it is and as it should be.

"I'm Zion, her girlfriend. Nice meeting you. Is it your thing to dance in the rain?" He asked her.

The girl grinned and nods her head.
"It is. I'm Naya. What about you?" She motioned towards the girl beside Zion.

The girl's name is Naya. She's not the real Naya in the story that the author made, but in the girl's heart, she's Naya and it can't be changed. Zion thought of the same also. It is engraved in the girl's heart already that she will always be Naya no matter where and what. Even if she knows before that she wasn't the main character.

Even Naya's actions in the story that the author made, is in her. The dancing in the middle of the rain. Maybe the issue in the story wasn't actually that bad. It had positive effects and even if the girl's already removed in the story that the author made, she brought Naya's characteristics with her.. and her name.

Zion's girlfriend, who was the author of 'Paper Hearts' smiled warmly at the girl in front of her, who used to be a character she once had in her story and introduced herself.

"Nice meeting you, Naya. The name's Chelsea. Let's be friends."
