MORANA: The Feared Villainess

Chapter 6

I still couldn't believe that I would never be able to avenge my parents anymore. Although I do not have any attachments to them, they are still my parents. My uncle was unfortunate enough not to be able to break his curse after honing my skills for a century. I thank him, for I would not be decisive and become the villainess if he didn't find and trained me. 

I look at the gorgeous man in front of me who's getting ready to open this body's meridians. "This might be painful," he commented before he held my pulse. I guess I will never be able to stop admiring the man before me. He ensembled the god of beauty. Urgh! This is why I easily get betrayed; I admire looks before attitude. 

"It's not like it matters, and I am already numb to pain," I stated. Harbin chuckled before he started opening my meridians. I was not expecting the high electricity voltage that began to run through my veins. I cursed in the middle of the process. I guess I am not numb in this body after all.  

The activity took an hour before we were finally done. I am sweating all over my body, and so is Harbin. I inhaled a considerable amount of air before I exhaled. That was a long moment of torture; I felt like I was one of those people who had undergone punishment in prison. Harbin's faerie gave the both of us a towel, she gave it first to Harbin while smiling seductively; when she turned to me, she seemed very displeased. Oh, jealous little creature.

"You need to rest before you can use magic in that body. Since this is the first step in getting your powers back, you should never hasten your training. You already know the drill; familiarize this girl's power first before you try unleashing your own power. If you do things hurriedly, that body might not handle the massive amount of power, so be careful," Harbin reminded. 

"Alright, I'll get back to you if I need some of your help in my training. I'll train myself inside the palace because I don't want anyone to get suspicious of me. Is there a chance that I could communicate with you even if I'm in the palace?" I asked. 

Tumango siya bago tumayo at nag tungo sa loob ng isang silid, pag balik niya ay mayroon siyang inabot na isang kabibi. "You can use that to call me; it's like a phone in the human world. I also have one for myself, so call me anytime." I almost laughed at the thought of calling him through this. I have visited the human realm several times, and I am familiar with using what they call a cellphone, but as much as I wanted to bring them here, I cannot since there will be no internet connection in this realm. I hope the time will come when these people build internet towers. I wanted an easy way of communicating. 

"Okay, but where did you get this?" 

"Of course, in Atlantia. I have been there for some time to find you after your death. I have also been to Socotria, that's where I met Elida, my faerie, and to other kingdoms. Arcania is my last destination, and I didn't really expect you to be transmigrated here." This guy made a lot of effort to find me, and although my parents entrusted him to bring me into the human world, it has been centuries since his task was done. Is he perhaps in love with me after watching me for hundreds of years? Oh, Morana, you forgot that you're the queen of Clementia if all of these didn't happen. He's also from Clementia, idiot!

"How sure are you that I will be back?" I curiously asked. "Were you there when I died?" He might be because how will he know that I will be transmigrated if he wasn't? 

"I wasn't because I was late. You were already dead when I arrived, but how did I know you would be transmigrated? Easy, that is because you're not dumb not to do anything, and your ashes also confirmed that you cast a spell before dying. I am not like your brainless ex-fling who just announced that you're dead. Curious why those creatures went wild after your death and destroyed Alkania? That is because they heard your words before you died; in fact, I also heard them. I did not know how that happened, but it might be because you're half-elven or maybe because you were so angry and heartbroken, which caused them to hear your last words." I did not know what to say because I wasn't also expecting those evil creatures to avenge my death. I felt proud when I read that they destroyed Ceberus' kingdom; I didn't know they heard me say those words. 

"I think you should get going, Morana. The sun is almost down; your vessel's big sister might look for you," Harbin reminded. I nodded at him and stood up. Both he and his faerie accompanied me to their shop's door. When I was already walking away from them, Harbin bid goodbye while his faerie rolled her eyes and went inside the shop first. 

I immediately changed into my gowns when I arrived home before heading to the dining room. Ilene must be looking for her sister by now. When I got there, Harry and Dhrystan were also present. I should ask Ilene why I felt like these two are also living in the palace. They have their kingdom and palace, for Thelea's sake! 

"Where have you been? I have been looking for you all day because I wanted to play with you," Dhrystan said. I instantly felt disgusted when he pouted his lips. What are we? Kids? Right! They are kids; how could I forget?

"I roamed around the palace to familiarize it once again. I'll go with you next time," I replied and smiled. I sat down in the chair next to Ilene; she seemed very busy because even when we were in front of the food, she is still reading memorials. 

"Alright! I'll invite you tomorrow to play outside. Will that be fine, Ilene?" Dhrystan asked. 

"No, Father's body will arrive tomorrow," She answered. 

Finally! I will be able to start my investigation, and I will first check King Estel's body. I wonder why he didn't turn into ashes?
