A Vampire's World

News Broadcast.

I look up, from my seat on the dirty ground. My eyes landing on a built man. Six foot, broad shoulder, ripped muscles everywhere. Tan, unlike me. High cheek bones, plump pink lips and light shaggy brown hair. I lock my lavender eyes with his golden ones.

"I'm sorry, really I am. I just kept running." A strangled sob escapes me.

"Hey, it's okay sweetheart. I'll bring you back to the border." He says

"What border? Where even am I?" I whisper.

"You're on Werewolf territory. What's your name?" He asks. My face pales. The War. Is he going to kill me? Wait, why would he say he's bringing me back to the border?

A debate takes place in my head. Should I tell him? Fuck it. I have that Press conference later.

"I'm Ariella, you?"

"Blaine."

My heart squeezes, uncomfortablly.

"Blaine?" I question, I sound heartbroken. Now that I look at him, he is the spitting image of My Blaine. Just different eyes and hair. I like him.

He nods. Isn't he supposed to attack? There is a war going on. He puts my down, I look up to him and smile sadlh.

"It was nice meeting you Blaine, sorry we have to fight. If you survive come to me. I like you, you reminded me of my... best friend." I smile as he nods. I turn away from him and run back.

No one noticed I was gone, I ran up the stairs, when I got in and showeeed to wash Blaine's werewolf scent off me. Now, Iam sitting in the throne room with the dress my mom had. It is a floor length , flowy crimson dress. It has a deep neckline, it goes to my belly button. Little diamonds scattered on the top. I'm standing beside Loren's throne, Lily is beside him in her own throne, Jacob is beside her, Dimi is beside me and Demi beside Jacob.

The camera crew file into the room, I start to get nervous. They are all set up and the countdown's started. '3, 2, 1.'

"Hello everyone, if all vampires and other supernaturals get all humans to watch this, it concerns them." He pauses and takes in a deep breath. "Now, you all already know my family. Queen Lily, Prince Jacob and Princess Demi, and Prince Alann, who couldn't be here today." He points to everyone of the Hermendez's "We have two new family members. This may come as a shock, to everyone that understands. Ariella Costella and Dimitri Costella. The very last two, of the Costella line." He points at us and smiles. "It has been pointed out to me that, we can live alongside humans peacefully. Hire them for jobs, donators and whatnot. This is what we are going to do." He pauses for dramatics. "We revoke the slavery law, humans can go back to what they were doing before we invaded. They will have to donate blood, for money of course, some will be hired as workers. Slaves are illegal now, anyone who has one will be dealt with, accordingly." He smiled. "Thank you very much, any questions, please request an audience with us."

The camera shut off, and I breath a sigh of relief. and the camera crew left. Loren and Lily grab me into a bear hug, along with Demi and Dimi. Jacob was left, I scoff and stalk out of the room, heading straight for the library.

I search the whole library in ten minutes, I pick up three series' of books. 'Twilight Saga.', 'The Vampyre Academy.' and 'House of Night.' I don't know why I still read these, I loved them when I was human. I still do now.

I run to my room, put all the books down and started with 'House of Night.' My door knocks quietly after about an hour. I answer telling whoever it is to come in. Not taking my eyes off the book. I finally looked up. Dimi was sitting on my bed.

"What's wrong with you and Jacob, Ari?" I sigh.

"He's my mate, there is no way he doesn't know. Yesterday, I walked in on him and his cheating ex having sex. I ran into the forest, talked to a werewolf and came back." I blurt.

"I will kill him, every vampire knows who their mate!" He screams, eyes burning red. I rub his arm until his eyes, slowly, turned his peircing blue colour. "Wait, a werewolf? There supposed to kill any vampire on sight."

"It's okay Dimi," He smiles when I call him, my nickname for him. "Yeah, I was crying, he was gonna kill me, then he seen me cry. He took me back to the border. He had the same name as Blaine, my best friend."

"I knew you were a magnet to people. I bloody knew it." I laugh then. "That's amazing. You could save yourself from being killed."

Realistation smacks me in the face. What the hell am I gonna do if I only survive. I can't have a child with a human. I could make more vampires. Oh, I don't know. I don't want the Hermendez's or Dimi to die.

"Try not to die, Dimi. I don't wanna be left alone again." I whispered, my bottom lip trembling.

He pulls me into a hug, I gasp. I see every memory and my powers got stronger. He looks at me with a wide smile.

"Gonna go to my room Ari, come in if you need anything. Someone wants to see you."

He got up and flits to the door, he opened it and left. In his place was the one person I didn't want to see. Jacob.
