here are the character profiles that i write before each story (basically a prologue)

ˑ༄ؘ ۪۪۫۫ ▹punz

punz has bpd (borderline personality disorder) and one of the traits he has from that is the fear that the people he cares about will leave or abandon him.

although bpd doesn't really have a "cause," it was suggested that his may have come from his childhood trauma- whether that be his dad dying when he was young or his mom becoming an abusive alcoholic.

punz moved in with his ex after only being together for a few months just so he could get away from his mom. they were engaged and (in punz's pov) deeply in love. it was his ex that introduced punz to drugs, alcohol and sex, and ended up getting the blond addicted to all of those things.

his ex cheated on him and, when punz found out, he rightly left. he almost killed himself in the spur of the moment, so driven by his emotions, but managed to stop himself just beforehand when he truly thought about what it was that he was doing.

after that, he moved back in with his mom for a bit but, with the abuse only getting worse, he decided he couldn't stay there, and this is what led to him running away.

he is supposed to go to psychotherapy but obviously, after running away, it isn't really an option for him now. plus, he never could've afforded it in the first place.

sapnap really had quite a normal upbringing, besides the fact that his parents are very rich.

he came into a lot of money after his grandparents died too, which is why he doesn't have a proper job besides his photography (which actually does get him an okay income too- not enough for the lifestyle he lives though).

he is doing an online college course for his photography to help him get into a proper career for it, and throughout the story this isn't mentioned or even referenced as he lets all of his priorities slip away as he gets so distracted with punz.

he met quackity at abra and they've been best friends since then.

rich boy with a promising future, introduced to the life of drugs and sex, got addicted, and watched his goals slowly fade away.

sapnap has night terrors most nights, which have led to him having somewhat of a phobia of sleeping alone (which arguably feeds his sex addiction).

karl is literally just your average guy, living in texas and going to college. he went to abra simply because he was bored. he is not a regular, nor does he go back to the club again.

quackity is very much like sapnap, in the sense that his rich parents unintentionally led him down the wrong path that ended with him also getting carried away in the life of partying. however, he is trying to pick up the pieces of his life again, and is a full-time law student, which is why he isn't always present to go out with sapnap and get constant life updates.

venii (bouncer) and leo (bartender) are people from my server :)

also, i named the club abra because one of the clubs in my other books was called hypno and i wanted to continue the pokémon evolutions.
