Hyunjin welcomed Minho into his bedroom to pass the time while Jisung and the rest of 3Racha went to their meeting. His room was much neater compared to Jisung's, but still not exactly clean. It seemed to be the only room in the house not overrun with gym equipment, instead it was filled with scratch papers of drawings and painting supplies. There was a bookshelf located in the corner of his room which was also overflowing with books that had bent covers. Still, Minho had to appreciate that they were at least organized by genre.
He crouched in front of the shelf to evaluate Hyunjin's taste further, flipping through a few that caught his eye.
"Find anything interesting?" Hyunjin asked, sitting in the chair he had tucked next to the bookshelf, the only thing separating them being a lamp.
"They're mostly gay" Minho mumbled, running over the titles again and pulling out a poetry book.
Hyunjin laughed. "I can't argue with that, I'm pretty sure everything about me is gay. Books, art, my friend group. I used to have one straight friend and that was Jisung. We both know how that ended"
Minho tilted his head to the side. "You thought Jisung was straight"
"Ridiculous in retrospect, I know," Hyunjin responded. "But before you, he only ever showed interest in women"
Minho blinded in confusion. "Really?"
"Yeah, I mean, he's only had girlfriends in the past," Hyunjin continued. "I didn't even know he was into guys until you came around. I don't think he did either"
There was something so sweet about being someone's first. He liked the idea of introducing Jisung to a world that he hadn't even considered before. Carefully, he put the book back into its designated spot and brainstormed more questions to ask Hyunjin before Jisung got back.
They talked for a while, Minho leaning back on his hands while sitting on the floor and Hyunjin's legs crossed as he sat in the reading chair.
"I'm glad I came over tonight," Minho said. "I just wish I had showered before I did. I still smell like the dance studio"
"There's a bathroom connected to Jisung's room," Hyunjin told him, not looking up from the books he had grabbed.
"Do you think he would mind?" Minho asked, standing up and stretching up, his muscles still sore from work. He would be lying if he said there wasn't a part of him that was curious and wanted to snoop around.
"Minho, honey," Hyunjin started. "Jisung is absolutely obsessed with you, you could burn our apartment down and he wouldn't mind"
The first thought that darted through Minho's mind before he could prevent it was that Hyunjin called him honey, proving Jisung's story that the call he got was from him. He shook it away and focused more on the fact that it was clear to Jisung's roommates that he was obsessed with him.
Minho laughed at that. "I suppose that's true"
With that, he left Hyunjin to his reading and went back into Jisung's cluttered room. He swears he was only going to shower, but the state of the room was driving him insane, so he decided to organize a little. Jisung would thank him later.
All he was doing was throwing some clothes into the hamper, tossing empty chip bags into the trash can and straightening up his bed. When he stumbled upon the paper titled "100 Questions to Ask on a First Date" it was purely coincidence.
A perfectly wicked idea popped up in his mind as he scanned the questions, picking out the ones that weren't crossed off yet. 62 remained.
Minho picked up his phone and rapidly started typing out the answers to all the remaining questions. The wait was amazing in a way, it was a method of making sure Minho felt seen before they were intimate, but it was also excruciating since Minho had wanted nothing more than to fuck Jisung since their first date.
