My sleep was broken by a repetitive vibration from underneath my pillow, 7 missed texts. from who? I used my face Id to unlock my phone to see 'Dina' what is she texting me at 10:45am on a Saturday?

I looked at the bright white iMessage screen. Where did Dina wanna go at 11am? Why is she telling me about Ellie? We have only met like once or twice and that's just to collect weed from her.

Ellie is Dinas best friend, they've known each other since they used to live back in Jackson together as kids. Me and Dina only met this year we are both doing an English literature course, almost as soon as we met we became bestfriends.

I love Dina, she helped me around campus and is basically my only friend, we always hang out together when she not to busy with her boyfriend, Jesse. They're so cute together, I love them both.

I held my phone above my head still laying in bed half asleep.

ME: 'what do you want dinaaaa'

I typed back to her 7 messages, Im not surprised or even shocked by the fact she messaged me 7 times, Dina was very bubbly and affectionate. Jesse doesn't deserve her.

Dina: 'omg Honey you're awake, I'm coming over i'm bored'

Me: 'how are you bored, didn't you just wake up?'

Dina: 'No, i've been awake for like 5 hours i went to go pick up ellie from the airport, who btw is also coming to your house'

Huh? Why is she inviting Ellie? Dina always teases how me and Ellie would really hit it off as friends , i just thought she thought that because we are the only girls  she knows, and likes. While i was thinking about Ellie i snapped back into reality and realised all the messy clothes i have all around my apartment. No way i can have any guests but Dina here right now. I quickly grab my phone to text back.

Me: 'WHAT? dude it's a mess here.'

Dina: 'trust me, ellie does not care she is wayy messier than you!!! just brush your teeth, we are going to smoke!'

Me: 'Whatever'

I typed back pushing the messy clothes in my living room to my bedroom. I go into my bathroom to brush my teeth and fix my messy hair into a neater messy bun. I don't look my best but i don't look horrible.

Im wearing comfortable fluffy white socks, loose grey sweatpants where you can see the 'Calvin klien' seem of my boxers, I always wear boxers to sleep, and an oversized white t-shirt.

Could be worse, while looking at myself in the mirror i hear a knock on my door. Jeez they came here fast. I walked over slower to the front door almost tripped over a loose wire from my hair straightener i used the other night.

I open the door to meet Dina soft smile looking back at me. Dina is wearing a matching black tracksuit set with some cute small gold hoop earrings and white high top converse. Dina smiles at me "Looking pretty for someone who just woke up hm" she teases as i just laugh as she sits onto my couch.
