Night Talks

Rose woke with a jerk and winced at the pain in her body. She took a breath before slowly getting up and walking towards the common kitchen.

Thor looked up from the couch. His gaze wandered over her. His hoodie fell just past the swell of her ass. He cleared his throat, realizing he was staring.

"Are you okay, Lady Rose?"

"Just Rose, please, and I just need some water to take some pain pills." Rose responded.

Thor got up, grabbed her a glass, and handed it to her. "Should you take that on an empty stomach?"

Rose shrugged, wincing. "Probably not."

Thor tilted his head, then went to his cabinet in the kitchen and grabbed a box of pop tarts. He held out the box to her. "If you don't like strawberry, I have other flavors."

Rose looked at the cabinet and giggled. "Please don't let April see that cabinet." She pointed to a box of fudge pop tarts. "Can I have fudge, please?"

Thor nodded and grabbed the box, putting two in the toaster. "Your children are very brave."

Rose smiled slightly. "I think they take after their father, honestly."

"Bucky is their father, correct?" Thor asked, plating the poptarts.

Rose nodded, taking the plate from Thor. "Umm, unlike my sisters, I wasn't put through the Redroom. I have all my working parts because of my unique bloodline."

"What is unique about it?" Thor asked curiously as he sat across from her.

"My father isn't human from what I understand. So, they took some genetic material from the best from the Winter Soldier program and impregnated me." Rose shrugged slightly. "Bucky was the best, so he was chosen. After the success, that was Alec, and it was then decided to try to modify the genes a little more before trying again. April was the success of that one."

Thor nodded, slightly confused. "Have you and Bucky ever.."

Rose shook her head. "Oh no. The love I hold for him is a best friend and the father of my children." She let her eyes trail along Thor as he ate his pop tarts. "Do you have a significant other?"

Thor shook his head. "I was involved with a Midgardian, but it didn't work out for many reasons."

Rose nodded, slightly taking the pain pill before standing up. "Well, it was nice talking with you, Thor. Goodnight." She walked off with a smile.

Thor swallowed, feeling flutters in his chest. "Good night, Rose."
