Thor walked along the streets of New York with Peter beside him, talking about things he didn't quite understand, but he liked being around the young Midgardian. As Peter talked, a faint cry made its way to Thor.

"Hep, Mama." A little girl cried trying to get people's attention.

Thor stopped and knelt down in front of the young girl. He noticed the bruises and scrapes on the young child. Peter looked around in confusion.

"Little one, where is your mother?"

She pointed towards an alley where Thor saw a slightly older boy standing over a huddled figure. The boy held a knife.

Thor picked up the girl and walked towards the alley. "Peter, call for Tony."

Peter nodded, pulling out his phone.

Thor stopped holding up a hand. "I mean no harm, young one."

The boy narrowed his eyes. "You know Black Widow."

"I do."

"Call her."

A faint voice responded. "Alec, be nice." The woman groaned as she moved to a position hissing in pain. She noticed Thor holding her daughter. "Where is Natasha Romanoff?"

Thor handed the girl over to Peter before scooping up the woman. "Let's get you some help." He looked at the woman. "Lady Natasha is on a mission at the moment."

The woman nodded some before passing out.

Peter bit his lip. "Mr. Stark said, bring them to the tower. Dr. Banner is in the lab."

Thor nodded he saw the boy was injured as well and looked at him. "Can my friend carry you?"

Alec nodded slightly, letting Peter pick him up as he grabbed his sister. "It's okay April, mama will be okay."

The little girl cuddled her brother whimpering.
