Chapter 1

* Flashback 3 years ago*

I'm sitting on a bench at the park in front of a bush that has roses on it with a pencil and a notebook. Suddenly, a guy comes over. He is really handsome though. I bite my lip and start bouncing my leg. I'm really nervous. Nobody really talks to me yet this guy is coming up to me.

" Hey, my name is Adam. I'm new to town." He says smiling.

I look at him closer. Man, how could he have gotten even more handsome. All he did was smile.

" M-my name is Ally. " I stutter in complete shock. He chuckles. He looks at my lap and sees that I'm drawing and smiles more. I follow his eyes.

" O-oh I like to draw but I'm not good at it. The flowers are very pretty." I smile softly down at the drawing.

" Nonsense, it's beautiful." Adam says smiling. My heart flutters slightly. The only other person who ever said my drawing was beautiful was my older brother, Tony, who hasn't spoken to me in years no matter how many times I call him he always sends me to voicemail. I know it's him because he says his name.

" T-thank you Adam." I say shyly.

" Your welcome, do you know anywhere to eat at?" Adam says smiling. I smile.

" Ya, there's a restaurant down the street called Amy's Pizza." I look over at him. He's already smiling down at me. I look away and blush. He starts walking away, but suddenly he stops and turns around.

( I couldn't think of a restaurant name 🤣🤣 my mind went blank)

" Aren't you coming?" He questions me. My eyes widen along with my jaw dropping down. He chuckles. I shake my head.

" You thought you weren't coming? You gotta come with me I might get lost." He says. I bite my lip and look down. My skirt looks very interesting right now.

" O-ok I'll come." I smile. He puts his hand out and I grab it. My blush has deepened. We walk down to the restaurant. He orders a slice of pepperoni pizza. I order a slice of cheese pizza. I attempted to pay for my own when all of a sudden-

" I'll pay, you shouldn't be paying for anything." Adam says. I blushed and bite my lip.

" O-oh ok."  I say. He looks away and smirks.

" You guys are so cute!" Says the lady at the cashier. My mouth drops. Adam is still smirking.

" W-we aren't dating. We just met at the park today." I say fidgeting with the money in my hand.

" Oh really? You guys seem like y'all have known each other for years!!" The lady exclaimed. Adam smirks and looks down at me.

" Maybe someday." He mutters. But I didn't hear him.

" Thank you for the pizza." I say smiling as I walk out the store. Adam soon follows after me. We continue to walk back to the park and eat our pizza in comfortable silence. I get to my car. As he starts to speak.

" So, will we see each other again soon?" Adam question.

" M-maybe." I stutter. God, why am I stuttering so much around him? Last time I stuttered was trying to get Tony to stay home and not leave me with dad.

" Well here's my number. Text me whenever." He says smiling and writing his number down in my notebook. I nod smiling while blushing a little.

" I will. " I say getting into my car. I wave at him as I drove back home.

*  Flashback over*
