Chapter 2

Today was the first day of your new job. Your brother Edson played for la selección mexicana and they were in need of a new trainer and physical therapist, and Edson referred you to them.

This was also the first time you came back to Mexico, since your went to study abroad for about 6 years and have finally came back, and you were staying at a small apartment.

You got ready and headed over to the stadium where they were going to be practicing. You were a bit nervous since it's your first job with your degree, but also because you'll be working with la selección, which was a big deal to you.

You finally got to the stadium and you parked your car. You walked towards the front of the stadium, where someone was supposed to be waiting for you to show you around.

You got to the front and there was a woman waiting for you.

"Hello! You must be y/n, I'm Daniela and will be showing you around today" said the women

"Thank you!"
You both walked inside and you were amazed. The stadium was massive and there was so much open space.

"Here let me show you you're office" she said

The idea of having your own office made you excited. You walked a bit till you got the this one door and on it was your name on a plaque.

"Go ahead open your new office"

You opened it and it was all very nice and organized with your desk and computer. There were beds, towels and other materials all around for when players got injured, if they needed ice baths, etc . You looked around to try and get familiar with the place.

Next Daniela showed you the physical therapy room, where'd you also be working in. It was pretty close to your office. That room was huge and spacious since a lot of equipment would be needed. It was all super nice and well taken care of.

"Lastly you'll meet the team, but that's until they finish their practice. So have a look around the place and then we'll head over." You walked around exploring the place and you would see the team training down on the field.

Practice was finally over and you headed down to the field. The coach saw you and called you over, greeting you and introducing himself. He then called over the team.

"Hey guys, this is the new trainer and therapist... I expect you guys to all treat her well."

"Hi I'm y/n, nice to meet everyone" you said

"Ya guys that's my sister so y'all better treat her well, o se las van a ver conmigo" Edson said jokingly and everyone laughing.

After that people started coming up to you and introducing themselves, memo being the first one.

"¡Hola mija, bienvenida!" He said giving you a hug.
You guys had some small talk and then you moved on with other people.

Some of them didn't personally introduce themselves to you, they just waved from afar, but there was one particular person that caught your eye.

He was one of the players that didn't introduce himself. He seemed familiar, like you knew him but you couldn't quite pinpoint who exactly. Then before he was about to leave he went to talk to Edson and hugged him goodbye.

You wanted to ask Edson who he was, but you didn't want it to come off as if you're interested in him. Because then Edson would start making fun of you and you wouldn't hear the end of it.

You just brushed it off and continued on. You said goodbye to everyone and you went home for the day.
