The season went by very quickly, but Y/N made sure to take every game seriously and managed to break the record of goals scored in a season. His team has managed to win the league with one game to spare, losing only 2 games in the process.
The aespa girls weren't even subtle in showing their support for Y/N. They would sometime mention him on live streams and even included his celebration in their dance choreography.
The aespa fans realised this and mentioned Y/N's football club to make their meeting happen as soon as possible. They flooded their social media with requests and even massed email the club.
The club was overwhelmed by the fans' action and eventually invited aespa to their final match to present an award for Y/N. Y/N didn't saw any of this coming.
aespa POV
They received the invitation for the last match for the season. The girls got excited and nervous at the same time, they never in their life expected to meet Y/N personally.
"I can't believe this is happening" Giselle voiced out.
"I know right. We didn't even know anything about football before knowing Y/N" Karina stated.
"I can't wait to meet him hehehe" Ningning grinned.
"Do we get to see him play too?" Winter asked their manager.
"Yeap, the club booked a vip room for you guys to watch the match. And after the match they told us to present an award to Y/N" Their manager informed them.
"Guys, let's wear the team jersey that we bought last time!" Karina said in an excited tone. Of course they had bought the team jersey, they were big fans at this point, for Y/N by the way not the club lol.
Timeskip
Y/N POV
Finally it was the last match of the season, we dominated the league. The main striker has recovered from his injury but the coach kept me in the lineup saying that I deserve it.
The team has arrived at the home stadium and we were greeted by thousands of fans waiting at the entrance chanting our names. It felt like a hero's return.
Before the match starts, we presented the champions trophy to the fans with the captain holding it and showing it to the fans at the field.
After the little show off, the match process progressed as usual with the game starting.
Timeskip
We won the last game of the season with a comfortable 1-0 win against the opponent. I scored the only goal of the game, adding up to my tally of goals. We celebrated with the home fans for a while before heading back to the locker room.
Upon finishing the celebration, I was headed towards the locker room with my teammates and then one of the league staffs called me.
"Y/N! Congratulations once again on winning the league. We have a surprise for you for breaking the league goals scored in a season" The guy in suit said.
Before I could even reply to him, I saw aespa, wearing our team jersey coming towards us holding a trophy.
I was starstruck when I saw them, who would've expect aespa, one of the biggest Kpop stars here, presenting me an award. I was speechless at the moment.
"Be my ae, Hello we are aespa!" They did their signature introduction in front of me as I bowed and greeted them back.
"Congratulations on winning the league and breaking the record Y/N" Their leader Karina gave me a trophy with a beautiful smile.
"T-thank you very much!" I voiced out like a soldier and grabbed the trophy.
A photographer instructed us to stand together for a picture while holding the trophy. I stood in between aespa and that somehow made me blush as how close they were standing with me.
After the picture, one of the club's staff gave me four jersey for the girls with their names printed on it. I gave them the shirts one by one, thanking them once again for coming.
"Do you mind signing it Y/N?" They asked me which I happily accepted their request. I signed each one of their jerseys , they also brought me take a selfie with them.
We chatted for a moment, they expressed to me how big of a fan they were. I also told them that I was a big fan of them as we all just laughed.
As soon as we were done talking, the girl's manager called them, they congratulated me once again and bid farewell to me as the time for our meeting was coming to an end.
Karina POV
As we started walking away, I realised that we were missing one member. I scanned the girls and realized that Winter was missing making me turn back almost immediately.
To my surprise, I saw her with Y/N. Y/N was currently holding her phone typing something. The other members also looked towards them and chuckled.
"Wow our Minjeong is kinda bold" Giselle giggled.
Winter POV
After our group started walking away from Y/N, I had a huge dilemma to exchange contact number with Y/N.
I saw that Y/N was also starting to walk away and I thought to myself 'Haish screw it, you only live once anyway', and went towards him.
"Y/N wait!!" I unexpectedly raised my voice as I immediately close my mouth with my hand.
"Hmmm?" He turned around to face me. "Oh Winter-ssi, what is it?" He asked.
"C-can we exchange phone numbers?" I nervously asked and blushed a little.
"S-sure why not, but I don't have my phone with me now"
"Here you can use my phone to fill in your number!" I exclaimed while pointing my phone towards him with both hands. I wasn't myself at this point.
"Oh ok" He took my phone and inserted his phone number.
"Y-you don't have to be so formal with me by the way, you can just call me Minjeong" I said while he was busy with my phone.
"Should I call you noona, since you're older than me" He responded.
"No no you don't have to, I don't mind it" I reassured him.
"If you say so..." He replied. "Here you go... Minjeong" Y/N nervously said my name making me giggle.
"Thank you Y/N, I'll make sure to text you later" I gave him a smile.
"Well I'll be looking forward to it" he smiled back at me, giving me butterflies in my stomach. 'He's so cutee' i thought to myself.
We said goodbye and waved at each other before parting ways.
I was smiling widely while looking at my phone while looking at Y/N's number on my phone.
"Ehem I guess someone's in a good mood" Karina teased me.
"Never knew you were this bold Minjeong ah" Giselle laughed.
"You're blushing right now unnie" Ningning continued.
"What? Eyyy it's nothing, come one let's go home" I hopped happily while dragging Karina's hand.
"She's really in a good mood huh" Giselle said to Ningning as they just laughed and joined us.
