New Club

Y/N POV

It turns out that the new club that was interested in me was FC Barcelona. They offered a record breaking fee which Napoli can't easily refuse.

The contract that they offered me was a huge difference compared to the one that I currently have with Napoli. I happily accepted the offer and signed with them.

I bid farewell to my Napoli teammates, we have achieved so much during my spell at the club which includes the league title back to back and the league cup but champions league was still far from our reach as we always fell short in the later stages.

I did my medical check on Spain which fortunately went well and got myself a new house for me to stay there.

Everything went well, the process was smooth as I met the coach and president of the club for the official signing and did a short photoshoot for my announcement. I was given the number 10 as they found it suited for me.
(let's just say that number is available)

I was hesitant when I was offered that number knowing the pressure from the previous legends that has carried it but they insisted and I could only accept it.

I posed with the club jersey proudly, representing the blaugrana colours. I was honoured to play for this club, from their history itself shows how big this team is. Then I proceeded to meet the fans that were present.

There were a lot of them and I could only interact with the ones close to me and one particular girl caught my eyes as she talked to me in Korean.

"Can you please sign my shirt? It's for someone special" The fan said in Korean.

I approached her and signed the shirt as she thanked me multiple times. I chuckled at her behaviour and went on to the others.

After a few hours, the day finally ended and I headed home. Upon entering the house, I sighed as I felt how lonely I felt and suddenly Winter came across my mind. Her smile, her voice, her cute face and her lips. I missed all of it. It was sad that we ended way sooner than expected, to make it worse, I can't even talk to any of them.

I headed to bed bearing the weight of the sadness, hoping that I can still perform well in my new club without my number 1 supporter.

aespa POV

They were currently attending their fan meeting as the fans lined up to meet each of them.

They did everything as usual, signing and interacting with their fans but one particular fan was up to something.

Winter POV

As I meet the fans one by one, I started to feel tired. This has been going on ever since I have lost contact with Y/N. I would get tired and irritated more easily. Our manager didn't allow us to see nor talk to him ever since that incident.

I once tried asking our manager to contact him for me and he willingly accepted it and what I received was a total heart break.

Our manager said that Y/N wanted to break up with me and that broke my heart instantly as I cried my heart out. I didn't understand why he did that at first but soon my members comforted me saying that he's doing what's best for the two us. I held on to their words, hoping that it was true.

"Hello? Unnie?" One fan waved her little hands trying to gain my attention.

"Oh hello there! Sorry I lost my focus for a moment hahah" I told the cute young fan as she placed her album waiting for my sign.

"It's ok unnie, I know you have been through a lot recently" She reassured me and gave me the most heartwarming smile.

This feeling was new, it somehow made me feel relieved and comfortable.

"T-thank you"

"And I have something for you unnie" the fan said, giving me a pretty looking box.

"Omo omo this looks nice, can I open it" I asked her after scanning the box and she nodded.

I opened the box and saw a signed football jersey and a few snacks.

"I know you are a big fan of his so I personally attended his new club presentation last time and asked for his autograph" The fan happily explained.

Tears was forming in my eyes as I saw Y/N's name on the jersey of his new club. I immediately hugged it and thanked the fan.

"Thank you very much! This means the world to me" I told the fan, trying my best to hold in my tears.

"No problem unnie" The fan said as she stood up to go to the next member but stopped for a moment to whisper to me.

"You would look cute together unnie" She whispered and winked making me laugh at her action as she showed me her fighting fists to encourage me as I responded back.

That somehow made my day and I spent the whole fan meeting hugging the jersey feeling happy.

Timeskip to a few months.

We recently have made our comeback and were still promoting. I still watch Y/N's game from time to time. He's doing really great as their team was top of the league and through on every stages of every tournament.

I framed the jersey that the fan gave me and hung it on my wall as a reminder to stay strong and work harder everyday.

I was cheering for him privately with the members.

During our rest day, I was laying down on my bed watching some movies on my iPad until Karina unnie barged in my room.

"Minjeong ah! Have you heard?" She excitedly asked me.

"Heard what?" I asked her back clueless.

"Haish come here" She invited me to the living room where the other members are.

"Minjeong ah come look at this!" Giselle unnie showed me her phone.

'Barca and Spotify has decided to promote aespa for their latest comeback by displaying their logo on their jersey for their next match' The article stated on her phone.

"W-wha h-how? Is this true?" I asked still confused from the sudden information.

"Mhmm, we asked manager oppa just now he said that it's all true" Giselle answered me, nodding.

"He also said that the club invited us to watch their match on that day live" Karina excitedly said, holding both my shoulders as she shook me.

"That means...." I nervously spoke.

"We get to meet Y/N again!!" Ningning continued for me and everyone squealed out of happiness.

I was nervous to meet Y/N, we literally ghosted him a few years ago and he broke up with me making me feel scared to face him, what if he hates me, what if he already has a girlfriend. Thousands of questions came to my mind until Karina unnie shake me again.

"Snap out of it Minjeong ah. We're going to see him one way or another!" Karina unnie told me.

"We should apologize to him" Ningning pouted.

"Yeah I feel sorry for leaving him when he was in that state" Giselle unnie followed up.

"This was all the previous CEO's doing. He really cares more about money than us!" Karina unnie exclaimed.

Yeap you saw that right, previous CEO. The CEO that was caught to be doing dirty works to do anything that can profit him. Luckily he was replaced and was behind bars right now.

After chatting with the girls about meeting Y/N. We all went back to our rooms to get some rest as our upcoming days were filled with schedules.
