CHAPTER 12 : fate is unfair

Lily's state of mind was in chaos.

She was in a state of disbelief.

After suddenly coming to this unknown world, the first thing she was ever relieved about was her being a beta.

Because for her, it wasn't just about the original novel story plot, but in fact she didn't wanted to get involved herself with the alpha x omega and pheromone stuff.

It wasn't like she hated them.

It's just that, she couldn't trust a relationship solely based on pheromones.

She thought , if she ever entered a relationship based on the alpha or omega instinct she would always feel uneasy.

Because, what will happen if her partner suddenly find someone else's pheromones more compatible and appealing than her's?

This could happen in this kind of world.
Which is why she didn't trust those relationships.

She knew that pheromones can cause unnecessary attraction towards someone, even if that person is not truly willing for it.

She had this kind of fear in her heart.
Especially, in this world, in which she didn't knew how exactly relationship worked as a outside person.

She didn't ever wanted to be betrayed by the person she would love.

She thought, not everyone's love story can be happy like the protagonists.

Lily always thought of having a very loving relationship with someone. In which she could be happy.
In which she could love her partner wholeheartedly and that person will also love her the same.

So she was happy being a beta, who couldn't sence pheromones, didn't have to go through heats, didn't had any pheromones issues.
Just like a person she was in her original world.

But, what?
What was she hearing right now?

The doctor was saying, She is an omega?

But how come?

The original lily wasn't an omega, she was definitely a beta so why am I an omega?

She suddenly recalled something.

Coming in this world without much knowledge was not good . Even if she had original Lily's memories,those were hazy. That's why she read so many book after coming here.

From one of those book ,she read an old looking book in which some lines were written saying ,that the nature of manifestation of an individual depends upon their nature of their soul.
At that time she didn't take those words seriously.

But now she couldn't ignore those.

'Does that mean, I became an omega because my soul entered Lily's body?'
She concluded.

They were congratulating lily, for her manifestation as an omega.

They didn't knew, how bitter these words were for her.

She was just blankly staring at their faces.

"Oh, congratulations darling. I am happy for you."

Lily's mother said to her with a tender tone. Taking Lily's hand in her both hands and squeezing it tightly.

Her mother's voice made her conscious of her surroundings, pulling her out that chaotic mind state.

She didn't knew, how she should react in front them. Especially leo and Louis since both of them were omega.

She couldn't show her displeasure about becoming an omega before them and made them think that she hates omega.

She didn't wanted to hurt their feelings.
