Chapter six

School was the same for the next few weeks. Harper and I studied in cafes and the library a lot because we had loads of "back to school exams."

There was no big missions so I always had someone to hang out with, normally either Bucky, Nat or Wanda. Dad has a lot of meetings for the industry, but I saw him talking to someone I didn't know.

He's always in suit, presuming he works with Nick Fury or something. Nat told me he never takes his mask off and she reckons he's around my age.

There was a new kid in my computer class in school. He sat across from Harper and I. He seemed very quite, he didn't even introduce himself.

For the rest of the class I noticed him looking at me. At the end of the class we were told we were going on a class trip. The teacher didn't say where, but I was excited.

I went home with a big smile on my face because I was excited for the school trip! "How was school honey?" Mom asked me as I sat down at the island counter. "Boring except for computer class, we found out we're going on a class trip in a few weeks!" "that's great! I'm sure you can go" she handed me a sandwich for lunch.

Dad was always overprotective when it came to things like school trips or going out on my own. I wasn't able to ask him though as he was on a mission and came home late.

Harper and I called for an hour that evening, did homework and talked about where we think the trip would be. We didn't have many good ideas. It was still fun.
