POV-(Y/n):
My taste buds were practically in heaven as they felt the warmth of the delicious food. The flavors were honed to perfection and the spices were noticeable but not overwhelming. I had never tasted freshly prepared and cooked food like this! This is leagues beyond the slop they threw in the cell for me back in the US! Every last bite was so yummy that I was quite disappointed when I reached to my plate for more only to see it empty.
I looked across the table to see Ms Kisaragi with a gentle grin on her face, just peacefully watching me eat.
(Y/n): S-Sorry...it's..been awhile since I've eaten.
She replied with a giggle!
Kisaragi: *giggles* Don't be sorry, I'm just happy to help you.
(Y/n): Thank you! What is this called again?
Kisaragi: It's Tempura; a pretty popular dish hear in Japan.
(Y/n): I can see why!
I had eaten the entire entree and all the sides. It was odd, I had eaten the entire thing but...I felt no room taken up in my stomach. It was like a drop in the bucket. I always had a fast metabolism but...I never noticed it working this quickly before. I felt re-energized all the same though. I grabbed the glass of water only to see that it was empty, I had drank it all already. Jeez, I had no idea I had become this ravenous.
Kisaragi: Want more?
(Y/n): Yes please!
She got up and took a pitcher of iced water from the fridge and refilled the cup. Within seconds I drank it all.
Kisaragi: Goodness, thirsty?
(Y/n): Yes ma'am, *mumbles* in more ways than one...
Kisaragi: What was that?
(Y/n): Nothing!
She smirked and I smiled, hoping that she hadn't heard my incoherent mumbling. I looked over at to the balcony, the wonderful view mesmerizing me.
(Y/n): May I?
Kisaragi: Of course! The sliding glass door is over there.
(Y/n): Thanks!
I walked to the sliding door and opened it, walking out onto the apartment balcony. The view was absolutely stunning! The densely built buildings, houses, and complexes spanned for miles as far as the eye could see; the massive main metropolis area marked in the distance with multiple skyscrapers. The soft breeze blew my hair as I inhaled the scents of the flowers out on the balcony.
Gazing out at the majestic sights; I was struck with a renewed sense of motivation. This was the start of my new life. No more experimentations or being under the knife forever, this was it.
I will save you Lucy.
I didn't even notice that Ms Kisaragi had walked up behind me. She placed her gentle left hand on my shoulder.
Kisaragi: Everything alright?
(Y/n): Yes...just getting lost in the view is all!
Kisaragi: It is quite nice, isn't it? Any time I'm getting too stressed about work, I always come out here and sit down. It calms me down every time!
(Y/n): That's cool, it's certainly giving me a nice calm vibe.
Kisaragi: Take as long as you need.
