I have found myself to go out late at night recently. Sometimes I'm by myself, sometimes I take my dog, Jagga. But tonight, I'm by myself. I feel as if this is the right time to leave my life behind. I take a 10 minute short cut to the beach and walk to the fence. I climb over it and take a step closer to the edge. The edge of life and the edge of my problems. I keep walking, slower and slower. I get to the edge of the cliff and start to take one foot off of the sandy rock.
But I just can't do it. I still have a family who loves me, I have a life to live. I actually want to get married someday to a guy and have children. If I end all my problems now, I won't get any of that. As I start to turn around and walk back, I see a figure on the other side of the fence.
"Hello?" I shyly ask.
"I'm sorry, I don't mean to be intruding. Oh, my names Tyler, Tyler Oakley." He extends his arm to shake my hand.
"My names Troye, Troye Mellet. But you can call my Troye Sivan." I reply.
"Ok Troye... So what are you doing out here so late at night?" I am intrigued by his question. Why is he asking this? Why does he even care why I'm out here?
"I was just going for a walk..." I quickly respond.
"By yourself?" Ugh! Stop asking me questions! You don't know me. I want to scream all these words and make him feel on the spot. But I'm not the type of person to do that, so I reply with a quick answer as always.
"Um, yeah? I was just clearing my mind..."
"Ok, well I've gotta go and get home, but hopefully I'll see you around?" He politely asks.
"Sure, see you around Tyler."
Why does guy want to see me again? I really don't have an answer for that. As I start walking back, a gust of wind blows me over. It was huge! I can't believe it, well actually now that I think of it, it may have not been that big... I guess I am pretty skinny, but still!
I walk back home and return to my room without breaking any peaceful silence.
