April 1st marks the 1st day of the school year, for Izuku Shimura it meant the 1st day in his training to become a Hero at UA High School. Had you told the formerly green haired boy he's be attending the school of his dreams and admitted through recommendations, he'd think you were crazy... or maybe hit by a villains Quirk. But either way being at UA is a pipe dream no longer because he's going.
Currently, Izuku was walking towards the train station now donning his UA uniform which consisted of a white shirt, dark blueish-green pants, red tie, and a grey blazer with dark blueish-green stripes. He also wore his signature red high tops as there weren't any requirements as far as footwear went and they were comfortable. Walking alongside the white-haired boy was one Melissa Shield.
The blonde-haired girl had transferred from I-Island Academy to UA High as a 2nd year in the Support Course. Her reasoning, while she was doing fine at her current school, UA allows its Support Course students to work on support items for students in the Hero Course which gives her real-world experience which I-Island Academy doesn't give. The young woman had also used it as an excuse to get off the Island because leaving wasn't an option as it was for the scientist's protection. She did want to come and see her Uncle Might and Izuku, the former of whom was used as an argument against the I-Islands board to allow Melissa off the Island.
But Izuku knows full well it was partially to get 1-up on Cathleen.
He had been proven right after Melissa decide to come into his room when there was a storm happening during the night and sleep in his bed, claiming she had Astraphobia.
The next day when Mai and Eri came to visit Izuku brought it up to the lady of the Yakuza who then proceeded to discuss her own phobia for the next 3 hours. Going into depth about her experiences and even went into coping exercises and recommended therapists.
It hadn't taken long for there to be an unspoken confession that Melissa was faking and the 3 never spoke about it since.
"So did Uncle Toshi say whether he'd be showing up during the orientation?" Melissa asked.
"I'm pretty sure he's going to be spending the time looking through the student files for the Hero course. UA never made a public announcement about him being hired, probably to prevent the campus from being stormed by the media," Izuku said, earning an understanding hum from the young woman.
"The media are crazy, I'm glad the media on I-Island is nothing like..." Melissa yawned, "What Japan has."
"Still too early, sure you'll make it through the day?"
"Izuku I'm fine. Besides I can pull all nighters and still be okay."
"You won't be able to do those while you're here," Melissa glared at the young man. "My mom won't let it slide."
"Okay fair point."
Beep Beep!
Izuku and Melissa were brought out of their conversation by the horn of a car, looking over they say Mitsuki had pulled over across the road.
"Mornin' you guys!" Mitsuki greeted them.
"Morning Auntie!"
"Hello Mrs Bakugo."
"You 2 want a ride? I can give you one," Mitsuki offered.
" Yeah! Zuzu and girl that's living with him, get in!" Megumi shouted.
Seeing it as a better option than taking the train, the now UA students accepted the offer. They crossed the road and got in the back of the car, Izuku was behind Mitsuki and Melissa behind Megumi.
"No Katsuki?" Izuku asked.
"Nah, brat decided to make his own way there," Mitsuki pulled out and began driving. "He's still pissed about that."
