"Baby, turn on some music," Jennie said as she continued to drive.

You were sitting in the passenger seat of the car, holding one of her hands as she kept the other on the wheel.

You're feeling beyond excited as you and Jennie are taking a little road trip for the weekend to go on a little vacation.

It won't be for long but you plan on cherishing every second spent with her.

You let go of her hand to hook your phone up to the car and when it was all set up, you began to scroll through your music library to try and decide what to listen to.

You've got a long ride ahead, so you'll be able to listen to plenty of music together on your way there.

Suddenly, something caught your eye and you instantly tapped on it before it began to play through the speakers of the car.

Jennie giggled as she realized that it was kill this love, one of your absolute favorites by the girls.

"BLACKPINK in your area," You sang quietly, making Jennie grin.

"I love the sound of your voice, baby." She said. "Sing along with it for me."

Now, you're not all that great at Korean.

Even though you and Jennie have been together for a while now, you're still learning it and your pronunciation isn't the greatest.

So when Jennie's rap came on, you wanted to sing along to it but you stumbled over your words.

"Cheonsa gateun hi, kkeuten angma gateun bye," You tried to sing, only to trip over the words.

Jennie couldn't help but laugh and you went silent upon hearing her giggle.

"Having a hard time there, babe?" She teased as she took your hand into hers again.

"Sorry. My Korean still isn't great." You said as you grew embarrassed.

"It's alright, my love. I'm only teasing you. It's cute."

"It's not. It's embarrassing." You said as you shook your head.

"It is not." She said as she squeezed your hand. "It's hard to learn another language. I know you're struggling with it. There are other languages I want to learn but I struggle with too. It happens."

You nodded your head but remained silent.

"Come on, sing some more with me."

"I don't know, Jennie." You said as you looked at her, biting your lip nervously. "I suck at speaking Korean."

"Don't be so hard on yourself. I'll sing with you. Come on, it'll be fun!" She said happily before she started. "Here I come kickin' the door."

You tried to sing along with her, though you continued to stumble over your words.

And though Jennie found herself giggling on occasion, it wasn't because she was making fun of you.

Because she wasn't.

Instead, she found it cute how you tried and tried your hardest to sing along.

It meant a lot to her.

And as you continued, you found yourself pronouncing a few words correctly, which made Jennie feel so proud.

As the song came to an end, she pulled up to a red light and she couldn't stop herself from clapping her hands and cheering as she knew you were proud of yourself for getting it right.

"See? You're not as bad at it as you think you are. Besides, even if you mess it up, I still love when you sing. Your voice makes me smile."

"Jennie," You said, shaking your head with a smile.

"I mean it. Your voice is pretty, baby. Sing with me some more?"

The next song that came on was how you like that and even though you messed up on the words a little, you and Jennie had the time of your lives singing it together.

And that's all that truly mattered.
