You and Jennie were cuddled up on the sofa as the girls sat across the room, gushing over your baby daughter.
She's a month old now and they've adored her from the second she entered the world, so it doesn't surprise you or Jennie that they come over to see her more than the two of you sometimes.
Rosé took a few cute pictures with her that she planned to post to Instagram so the fans could get a sweet update of you all spending time together as well as your daughter.
The one obligation you and Jennie have always had for anyone close to you, such as your families or the girls when they post pictures of your baby is to always keep her face covered.
Usually, it's with emojis such as the heart-eyes, butterfly, or heart emoji.
But for some reason, today, it slipped Rosie's mind completely.
She was so excited to share the pictures with BLINKs that she shared them on Instagram without your daughter's face covered.
The notification that Rosie posted something new chimed on Lisa's phone and she quickly opened the app.
Her heart dropped instantly as she noticed her friend's mistake.
"Uh... guys?"
You all looked over at her.
"Rosie, your post..."
"What about it?" She asked Lisa.
"You forgot to cover her face."
You quickly reached for your phone and saw Rosé's newest post in your home feed.
Your daughter's face was exposed for the entire world to see.
The excitement of the fans from her face being shown was evident as it had already reached hundreds of thousands of likes and comments, as well as people reposting it and tagging you and Jennie in it.
"Oh no." You said.
"Rosie, why would you do that?" Jennie asked.
"It was just an accident. I swear! I'm so, so sorry!" Rosé said as guilt and anxiety rushed over her.
"Take it down, quick!" Jennie said in a panic.
Rosie quickly deleted the post.
But it was too late; the damage had been done.
Deleting it would only prevent people from liking and commenting on her post.
It wouldn't stop people from taking the photos from others and spreading them around more.
"I'm so sorry," Rosie said as she started to tear up, carefully handing the baby to Jisoo.
"We know you wouldn't do that on purpose." You said. "It's just really worrying."
Rosie nodded understandingly.
She and the girls all know why it was so important for everyone to keep the baby's face covered.
The girls have millions upon millions of fans across the world.
People can be invasive and judgmental and, sometimes, a little creepy.
It's just out of protection and respect for your sweet precious daughter.
Because, for you and Jennie, you want your daughter to be able to post pictures of herself showing her face when she's older, when it's her own decision.
You don't want her to be defined as Jennie's daughter; she'll always be so much more than that.
So to know that her face is all over the internet now, even though it was accidental, was a hard pill to swallow.
"I feel so awful," Rosie said.
"Rosie, it's okay. We're not mad at you. Don't beat yourself up so much." Jennie said. "It's not as though you did it on purpose."
"I wouldn't ever disrespect either of you like that." She quickly said.
"We know." You assured. "We just have to figure out what to do from here. Because people are going to keep spreading it around."
"We could report it to YG, and threaten legal action if they keep posting it. We could put out a statement saying everyone needs to take it down and not spread it around any further or there will be serious consequences." Jennie suggested.
"Yeah, that's not a bad idea." You said.
"Rosie," Jennie said before you both got up and went over to her. "We're not upset with you."
She was still very clearly beating herself up.
She was very disappointed in herself for forgetting something so important, something so important to you and Jennie.
"We will figure it out, I assure you. But don't be so hard on yourself. We know it was an accident. No one's upset at you." you said.
"You're sure?" Rosie asked.
"Of course," Jennie said before you both hugged her.
"Everything will be okay." Jisoo smiled as she reached out to brush her hand across Rosé's arm.
You carefully picked up your daughter from Jisoo's embrace and sat back on the sofa with Jennie, both of you trying to figure out a plan as the girls threw out suggestions.
The most important thing was your daughter's safety and well-being and you'd all do whatever it took to protect her from everyone online.
This mistake would never be made again, everyone would make sure of that.
