The tension between you and Jennie and the silence in the air was almost too much to bear as you both took a few minutes to calm down.

Neither of you could look at each other as you sat down on the bed with her, though a good distance away.

You rubbed your temples from the stress you felt from your day and the intense argument you and Jennie had.

It wasn't so bad that it would ruin your relationship but it was worse than others that you've had so far in your relationship.

And now that everything has settled and the silence has hit the air, you're both not sure what to do or say.

It felt awkward sitting with Jennie, which was a feeling you weren't used to because she always makes you feel so safe and loved.

"So... are we both going to sit here in silence all night?" You asked. "Because if so, I'm going to sleep in the guest room."

She didn't reply so you shook your head with a sigh and went to grab your things to take to the guest room with you.

But as soon as you were further up the bed, she pushed you on your back.

You gazed at her in surprise and confusion as she hovered over you.

"Don't you dare."

"What are you going to do about it, Jennie?"

She clenched her jaw as she looked away from your eyes and then to your lips.

And before you could say a word, her lips hit yours as she pulled you in for a deep kiss.

It was steamy and feverish and full of need.

And sure, you've shared kisses full of need and desire before with Jennie.

But not like this, not to this extent.

It was almost desperate; full of desire and determination to let go of everything you were both feeling.

You kissed her back just as needy before the desire became so overwhelming that you almost tore off each other's clothes.

Normally, you and Jennie wouldn't do this after a fight.

You'd hug and kiss and tell each other everything was okay.

But this had been more intense than usual and the words didn't seem as easy to say.

However, getting lost in each other and letting go of the stress and frustration you both felt by being intimate seemed to be better and easier tonight.

So when your bodies met in passion, you both just let it happen.

You got lost in each other and blew off the steam you both needed to let go of.

You thought it would be over fast and, honestly, after that, you weren't sure what would happen.

But you were wrong.

Because, somewhere along the way, your eyes met her brown ones and yours turned soft.

It didn't take long for you both to pause and realize what was happening.

The frustration and anger disappeared quickly after that as you both stared into each other's eyes for a moment.

"Jennie?"

"Yeah?"

"I'm sorry."

She smiled a little as she grabbed your hands in hers and intertwined your fingers together.

Her chest touched yours and you could feel her heart beating differently now; it wasn't racing or hammering against her chest from everything.

It was back to normal, even skipping a beat here and there along with yours because the feelings before this had changed, and now, romance and love were in the air.

"I'm sorry too." She whispered. "Let's slow it down. Let's make this more loving, not full of need."

You nodded in agreement before you closed your eyes as she put her lips back on yours, giving you a soft kiss.

And when your bodies met again as you got lost in each other, it was out of love and appreciation, not desperation and need.

It was perfect.

You both fell over the edge together, your lips meeting in sweet kisses while your hands stayed intertwined.

And when it was over, Jennie didn't move.

She kept lying over you as you gazed into each other's eyes.

"We're okay?"

"Yeah. Better than okay, baby. Everything's good." She promised.

"I love you, Jennie. Let's never fight again."

She smiled and kissed the corners of your lips.

"I agree, never again. I love you too."

She put her forehead on yours as you caught your breath, both of you basking in the moment and the love you have for each other.
