Tonight - there is a beautiful crescent moon that has blessed our night skies above. The calming effect from the crescent moon bringing a sense of peace among my lands and those around it.

I thought it would be a quiet night as I would be able to stay in my packhouse with my Beta, Enzo to enjoy a beer and watch a movie as we always did on crescent moons.

The sweetness of the quiet night also calming the raging storm that is my wolf as Gemini lays down and relaxes, completely for one of the only times in our lives.

I sigh a breath of relief as Enzo rubs my head, takin away the pain of the migraine that had now made itself at home in my cranium due to the monthly Council meeting this morning.

Feeling relaxed, my head rolls onto Enzo's shoulder as his fingers work their magic against my head. If it were anyone else, their fingers would have been chopped off and shoved down their throats or up their asses for touching me, but when it came to Enzo - the man was just different.

He's been my bestfriend since we were in diapers, helped me run my pack and develop it into what it is now and has put up with my shit as well as Gemini's or the past twenty-nine years, without even blinking an eye.

Not to mention, he's the only one and I do mean the only one on this Goddess forsaken planet that knew about the hell that I've endured at the hands of my father.

Enzo helped me get through it all, helped me bury the fuckers body when I beat his brains in and has never judged me when my wolf took over, wreaking havoc and destroying everything in his path.

I owe this man my life - quite literally.

So to feel our brotherly bond, something that I would never take for granted - stir within me, our pack bond flourishing as he massaged my head, pulling all tension from my body, I was thankful that it was him.

"Thank you, Enzo," I whisper my deepest thanks to him as my forehead lays on his shoulder, our bodies facing each other as we sat on the floor in front of the couch while he works his magic.

"No problem, Titus," He whispers back, his grip never tightening, the pressure staying perfect as the stress of the day washes away. "Just try to relax."

"Oh I'm relaxed," I nod against his shoulder, my hands coming up to grip his shoulders to steady my swaying body.

"Maybe a little too relaxed," He teases and I growl, knowing exactly what he meant.

"It's a natural reaction, Enzo," I snarl quietly.

"Sure," He drags out the word, chuckling. "Whatever you say, Alpha but you can't blame this one on the remote."

I growl again. "Shut up, Enzo."

He chuckles again, his fingers working harder to relax my now tense frame. "Hey, all I'm saying is that if you get a hard on while I'm massaging your head, then last week's incident couldn't have been the remote."

Pulling my head off his shoulder, I look into his eyes, seriously studying his expression. "I'm not attracted to men, Enzo, you know that and I wouldn't get hard for another man, I'm relaxed, that's it and that's all.

"But what if your mate is a man," Enzo wiggles his eyebrows. "Than what?"

"Than I accept him," I answer simply. "It would be awkward but I would accept him."

Enzo hums in response, his eyes searching mine as he studies my expression or lack thereof and when I narrow my eyes, he smiles - a smile that I knew all too well before he busts out laughing.
