They've been living in the woods for a week now. Adoras parents are probably worried but adora really doesn't care.
"Ok...what's your sister look like?" Adora asked
"She's got black hair and cat ears like mine she's a little darker then me and...she's short...shorter then me"
"Alright...I'm gonna go see if she's there okay?" Adora said
"Let me come" catra said as she stood up "you'll find her easier if you have me"
"I can't risk that" adora said "they know me nothings gonna happen to me, I can't let anything happen to you"
"That's real nice" catra said as she took a step closer to adora "but this is my sister,"she said "so I'm going"
"Catra..."
"I'll go with or without you"
"...alright fine" adora said "let's go"

After a while they reached the preserve and it was crawling with last men
"Stay quiet and out of sight alright?" Adora said and catra nodded
Adora walked into the preserve and catra followed her she hid behind walls or just under tables anytime someone came close to her or adora
"Adora!" One of the men said and catra was quick to hide behind a wall "your parents have been worried sick"
"Oh! I just have been staying at a friends house I'm pretty sure I told them" adora said "they must've been drunk or something like that" she said and the man laughed
"Yeah they party pretty hard" he said "do you want me to let them know your here?"
"No! No that's ok I'm leaving in a second just wanted to grab something I left here" adora said with a tight smile
"Alright well see you" he said before walking off. Adora stood there for a few more seconds before signaling for catra to follow her
She started walking towards the cell where they held all the hybrids. There weren't any guards there which was weird but it made the job much easier.
"LET ME GO!!" Said a high pitched voice. Both adora and catra looked towards the noise and saw a little cat girl being carried away by two last men
"Is that her?" Adora asked. Catra tried to run and get her sister but adora held her back "catra! No!" The men carried Sofia back into the cell and threw her in
"Stop tryin got escape or we'll rip you apart next" he said and Sofia hissed at him "freak" he said then he closed the gate with a loud slam and locked it
"Catra let's go" adora said as she pulled Catras arm "come on!"

"Why would you do that?" Catra said angrily "she was right there!"
"There were to many guards they would've caught you"
"And I would've killed them!" Catra said "easy fix" she said as she shrugged
"You would've been outnumbered, we would've been outnumbered" adora said and catra crossed her arms and rolled her eyes "at least she's safe"
"She's not safe!" Catra said with tears stinging her eyes "she would've be safe if you didnt stop me" the tears fell down her face
"I'm not sorry" adora said as she tried wiped Catras tears but catra moved away "I'm sorry that your sisters in that place but I'm not sorry I stopped you, they would've killed us"
"Whatever" catra said as she sat down on her sleeping bag "I can't let her stay there"
"And we'll get her out and Scorpia okay?"
"...you promise?"
"I promise" she said as she sat down next to catra and catra put her head on Adoras shoulder "You wanna know the truth?" Adora asked
"Sure"
"...I'm scared"
"Of what?"
"Well...This is gonna sound a bit weird.. and I know I've only known you for a week"
"Spit it out" catra said as she took her head off Adoras shoulder "tell me"
"..I'm scared that they'll find you, I'm scared that my parents will find out and they'll kill you or kill me"
"Why would you parents kill you?"
"Because they hate hybrids" adora said with a dry laugh "if they find out I helped you..."
"Then why did you?"
"Because I know how it feels to have someone you love taken from you" adora said with a sad smile "and because you guys don't deserve this you can't control how you were born" she said and catra smiled
"Your the first human to say that to me" catra said "thank you..and I'm sorry"
"Sorry for what?"
"The person you lost...I'm sorry"
"Oh...it's alright" adora said as she shook her head
"You wanna tell me about her?"
"You'd listen?"
"Of course"
"Ok..well...her name was Mara" adora said with a smile "she was my older sister and a few years before everyone went batshit crazy about all the hybrids she got into a plane crash"
"Oh shit..that's sucks"
"It does" adora said as she nodded
"You think about her a lot?"
"Sometimes...I've got someone new on my mind tho" she said looking directly at catra and Catras eyes went wide as she blushed
"Yeah?"
"Maybe" adora said with a shrug and then she laughed
"What so funny?"
"Your face" adora said and catra smiled
"Shut up" catra said but adora kept laughing "I literally hate you"
"Well your stuck with me!" Adora said and catra rolled her eyes
"Goodnight adora" catra said before getting into her sleeping bag
