I first published this story in my book, You Could Be the One, in 2017. I realized now that it's not really the romance happily-ever-after we know and it is kind of a cliffhanger. But I have plans for Ruth and Ian - lots of it, but writer's block for another book and the whole panini took my words away.
But maybe this year there's hope of finishing one book - maybe the book that was supposed to go before Ruth and Ian's story, or maybe this. Lots of things I originally planned would change for sure.
I did do some light edits in this Wattpad version because I forgot to change Tita Clara's name to Tita Ellen, which was in the published version. Then there's some grammar/style changes that I feel reflect me more now, which I will eventually update in the book version.
The real reason I reviewed and published this again today is because I'm working on a short chat fic with Ruth and Ian and the whole gang at TypeKita PH called "Special Delivery." This story is set between chapters 7 and 8. Check it out here: http://www.typekita.com/story/644d18e6012d832cb2770d4e
