𝙲𝚑. 11: 𝙵𝚘𝚛 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝙵𝚞𝚝𝚞𝚛𝚎٫ 𝙿𝚝. 2

"IT'S EDA AND KING!" Gus unexpectedly shouted, interrupting the moment. Of course, the rest of our friends all ran out of the house as fast as they could. While Y/n and I realized what we were doing and got off of each other, extremely flustered.

Y/n's POV

FuckfuckfuckfuckfuckshitshitshitshitwhythekentuckyfriedfuckdidIdothatfuckfuckfuckshit

Trying to take my mind off of what just happened and failing, Hunter, Willow, Gus, and I looked up at the sky. Amity, Luz, and Camila come rushing out of the house from behind us. A meteor unexpectedly shoots past us, right above our heads! Gus points towards the meteor, shouting, "They were on that shooting star!"

"How are we supposed to follow them?" Camila asked frantically. We started mounting our staves/staffs. I head patted palisman as I hopped onto my staff, waiting for everyone else. "Don't worry, I'm a safe flier." Amity comforts Camila. Hunter and Luz approach us, ready to take off on our staffs/staves. "Flier?" Camila exclaims, taken by surprise.

After we tried to convince Camila to get off of the ground and then tried to pry her away from the tree that she was holding onto, (which was not easy at all.) we finally got to fly across Bonesborough. Hunter rode Willow's staff, Luz rode Gus's staff, I rode my own staff, and Camila rode Amity's staff. Camila, of course, was terrified and kept her eyes shut the whole ride, tears flying across her face from the wind beating her face. After all of that, we landed in the middle of Bonesborough and observed the town, looking for Eda and King.

"Whoo, those things need seatbelts!" Camila exclaimed, getting off of Amity's staff. She sighed in relief as she leaned on a lamp post, saying, "Hello, sweet Earth."

This isn't Earth though-

She slid down onto a creature, which she didn't see at first.

Wait... is that- oh yeah, that's Jerry! I was walking here once, tripped and fell onto Jerry, apologized, and somehow got to know Jerry. We had our conversations through morse code. Cool guy.

Camila hears growling and looks down, realizing that she was sitting on top of Jerry. One of Jerry's eyes open, staring at Camila. Camila screams in terror and jumps up, ready to fight the creature, but she notices that we're giving Camila confuzzled look. Camila immediately hides the bat behind her.

"I- I mean, [She bows down to Jerry.] hello, good sir...?" Camila attempts to apologize to Jerry, which worked because Jerry was satisfied with Camila's politeness.

After that, we kept looking around, which brought us to Bonesborough, but... it looked very different. It had been comepltely deserted and abandoned, like, the building were filled with graffiti and the windows were all boarded up.

"Where are Eda and King?" Willow asked. "Where is... anyone?" Gus added... Y'know, he's right, what happened? Was it the freaky stuff that we saw earlier? Did that drive everyone away? If so, why?

Hunter peeked behind an abandoned stall and turned around, looking shocked. "Something's coming!" He warned us. I tensed up, getting ready to fight whatever it was. "Witches?" Gus asked. "Demons?" Willow added.

"No, it- it's... [He squints and turns around, confuzzled.] sparkles?"

"OH NO! DON'T LOOK AT IT, IT'LL MAKE YOU WANT TO BE HAPPY AND LOOK AT RAINBOWS!" I shouted, grabbing Hunter's wrist and throwing him behind me so I could protect him as soon as he looked back at us. Suddenly, we heard a sound followed by a bright, sparkling wave heading right towards us. We hid in an alley with the waves passing right by us.
