After Penny calmed down, Ginny, Ron, Fred and George decided to sit next to Pepper and May so Tony can sit with Ned, Penny and Stephen "The next memoires will be when Tony finally saw Penny for who she is and then the next one will be clips of them together" The voice said. Everyone settled down again
Penny is in her Spider-Woman suit, sitting on top of a building her back against the wall of the roof adding pressure on one of her cuts. Suddenly Iron-Man lands in front of her, "Penny" Tony steps out of the suit kneeling down in front of her "Let me see" he moves her hand away. The left side of her suit is burned, her skin is red
"I'm fine. It's just a burn" Penny tells him looking at the stars. Tony looks at her before sighing and sitting next to her "Penny, you saved them. You saved 5 people who were stuck in that apartment and everyone else got out-" Penny shakes her head "One didn't. I saved a little girl but not her mother. Now she has to grow up without one, it's not fair"
Penny gets up and starts pacing as Tony just watches her "I didn't save her, she was right in my reach and then the freaking roof fell on her! I mean how could that just happen? Right when I was going to save her, she died. Now that little girl has to live without her mother, you have no idea what it's like growing up without your mom there for you! And now that little girl is going to know what that feels like, the hole in your chest that can never be filled" Penny eyes start glowing pink "Everything is falling apart! Everything! I can't fix any of it!"
People hearts break hearing the defeated tone in Penny voice. How can a sixteen year old have so much pressure on her
Tony looks at Penny for a long time finally seeing the 16 year old under the suit. Finally seeing the 16 year old who lost too much, finally seeing the 16 year old who didn't want what happened to her happen to anyone else. Finally seeing her
He quickly gets up to stand in front of her "Your right and your wrong Penny" he tells her gently "You are wrong, you can fix it but you can't fix everything. Somethings are not meant to be changed, it has to happen but it doesn't mean you gotta like it" Penny eyes fade back to her chocolate brown "But you have to remember why your doing this in the first place. Your doing it so people don't have to feel the way you do right?" Penny nods silently "Here's something you gotta remember if you want to continue doing this. You can not save everyone. You can try, god I know you will try but you can't Penny"
"How can I do this if people keep dying on me?" Penny questioned exhaustion in her eyes, it makes Tony remember himself every time he looks into those eyes "Penny look over there" Penny looks over to where police, firetrucks and ambulance. She sees the little girl she saved running into the arms of a man. Pushing her hair behind her ear, she listens in "Daddy! Spider-Woman saved me! She saved me!" the little girl cried as the man held her to her chest "Honey, where's your mommy?"
"Spider-Woman tried to get her. She really did, she was right in front of her, reaching out to mommy. But the roof....Spider-Woman tried getting the roof off mommy but she got hurt and when I started coughing....Spider-Woman saved me" The man has tears in his eyes holding his daughter tighter "Thank you Spider-Woman" he whispers looking up at the sky
The hall lets out sigh of relief at least the little girl had her father "So you couldn't even save someone? Shows what kind of hero you are" Wanda scoffs making some glare at her "Oh don't start. I saw the news, you caused a building to get bombed. People died because of you! You worked with Hydra! You worked with Ultron! You are a wanted criminal! I'm the hero people call out to, to save them. When people see me the cheer knowing I will keep them safe. When people see you? The cry out in fear" Penny snaps "Who's the real hero now"
Wanda looks down as Steve glares at Penny gaining many glares at return and a slap on the head from Natasha "Look away" Steve looks away quickly
Penny smiles tears in her eyes as she turns back to Tony who's already looking at her "You did that Penny. Maybe you couldn't save his wife but you saved his daughter. Some people are going underestimate you, hell I did sometimes I still do. I look at you and I go....really? That kid? Then I remember what you've been through, what you stopped, I remember you how fiercely you fought. You fall down and you get back up and you do that on your own" Tony looks at Penny before bringing her into a hug
Tony looks at Penny wrapped up in his arms. She has always gotten back up on her own but he hopes now she understands that when she falls people will be there to catch her. She doesn't have to handle everything alone not anymore
"The next thing we're going to watch is some clips on Penny and Tony" The voice said
I don't want to know who we are without each other
Penny is sitting in a chair working at her Iron-Spider suit. Tony sneaks up behind her grabbing her shoulders making her scream and jump on the ceiling, Tony falls to the ground laughing
It's just too hard
I don't want to leave here without you
Tony is holding Penny in his arms as she dust away "I'm sorry" she whispers before she's gone. Tony stares at his hands tears in his eyes
I don't want to lose part of me
Iron-Man and Spider-Woman are fighting side-by-side together
Tony and Penny are cooking in the kitchen together when Tony splashes water on her making her laugh
Will I recover?
That broken Piece, let it go and unleash all the feelings
Tony is looking at a picture of him and Penny. Pen holding up a Stark industries Inter sign as Tony stands behind her holding up the bunny ears both smiling
Did we ever see it coming?
Penny crying as Tony kneels in front of her holding her in his arms
Penny is kneeling in front of Tony who's entire left side is burnt. Pepper laid a hand on her shoulder
Will we ever let it go?
The screen split into two. Tony looking at pictures of him and Penny before he snapped
Penny looking at pictures of her and Tony after he snapped
We are buried in broken dreams
We are knee-deep without a plea
Penny is trashing her apartment as tears go down her face
Tony is trashing his lab as Pepper and Rhodey stand in the background tears falling down there face
Both Penny and Tony falls to their knees looking at a picture of the other "Please come back to me" they whisper
I don't want to know what it's like to live without you
Tony and Penny are dancing around the living room as Pepper, Rhodey and Happy laugh at them
Don't want to know the other side of a world without you
Penny is standing next to Pepper and Morgan at Tony funeral
"I don't want to go back to a future where you not there anymore" Penny whispers to Tony her doe eyes broken "You won't have to Penny. You won't have to" he kisses the top of her head as everyone looked away giving them some privacy, expect James who glares at Tony thinking it should be him with Penny
